HE LOVES ME…. HE LOVES ME NOT
Petal after petal you rip out before my eyes,
I feel my stomach tighten,
Memories perish before my sight.
He loves me…
He loves me not.
It’s all that I am left with today to remember the withering future,
Or a dying past.
Take the blade before my wrist, it doesn’t mean a thing.
I still remember when you first kissed me,
Taste still lingers bittersweet upon my lips.
I still remember the day I cried; you told me things would be okay.
Things would be different,
Things would change,
but since then, too many words remain unspoken.
For I could...

WHAT YOU HAVE FAILED TO DO, HAS TAUGHT ME WELL
He told me….
The other day that I am an orphan.
He told me….
That I no longer have a father.
And I said that I never did.
I am nobody’s little girl,
I am no one’s daughter,
I belong to no one,
I have no home.
I am a stray.
He laughed.
He told me that my life is like a soap opera,
And I said
“Hell is what you make it”.
He mocked my words.
But that day,
I marked his,
as I sat in the passenger’s side.
Glaring out the window;
tears might have been wailing up.
But not one time did I turn my face,
and show him...

RECOGNIZING THE DEMON
She knelt before the dead girl to see just what it is like; to look down at another when she’s
no longer alive.
Her body lay stiff and her blood settle cold; her soul is still lost inside of her own self,
but her heart no longer whole.
Drip after drop of rain falls down and in her eyes, if she didn’t know any better she could swear this dead girl still cries.
There is somewhere inside of the dead girl that the demon demands to be set free,
for all of her life it has settled its zone somewhere inside of her….
The dead girl with a dream and a hope for tomorrow is...

PITY PARTY/TEA PARTY
Oh won’t you join me for another cup of tea?
My cup of self-sulking and misery?
I have always heard that misery loves company, So won’t you join me?
Oh just this once?
Please?!
We could share our sad stores and use our misery as our very own crutch!
We can sing the song of sadness; I will share it with you,
I have heard it now for all of my life, the same one I listen to in my bedroom as my parents argue, fuss and fight.
And the story of my sister so long and in the distance; She never realized what all she once had, the only thing she knows now is that there...

YOU LEFT ME BLEEDING (DADDY)…
Dear daddy,
You left me that day, you know that I stood there in the road, and I watched you, I stood there and I was crying out as you drove away. You didn’t one time glimpse in your rearview mirror to see if I still stood there, not one time did you really care.
You didn’t leave me a trace anywhere, you only left me stranded to the point that we both knew I could not follow you, for you had already stirred the dust up so badly in my eyes, you left me so unexpectedly that I didn’t know you were leaving me until you were really gone.

I’M NOT HOME
So wake up family, I think I’ve got something to say to you;
Good morning! Good night! Goodbye.
This has been a long time coming, one could say for all of my life.
Take a seat here loved ones;
For this news is not very well
Save my soul daddy… uh oh mother, daughter is heading for hell. Hello! Hello! the good girl had now rebelled.
The good girl’s Innocence have been broken, blood sheds now that the evil has spoken.
The darkness has now embraced your little girl, caressing me, it keeps me cold, I am so cold but still I prefer to keep my own cool.
No laughing...

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
He stole my dreams, he swept in and he took them away because he couldn’t bare the fact that I would never love him the way he claimed to have loved me so.
He swept in like a vulture and he took away my identity, he robbed me of who I was before the first time he introduced himself to me as hello.
Nothing would be the same after that because this loser became a little bit too obsessed with me; a case of insanity deep from the world of crazy.
Lie after lie would be the only thing that could have ever revealed his true identity to me, indeed there had been times when I felt sorry...

SUICIDAL TENDENCIES
Days, weeks, month’s years…..
All I really have to say is that it has come, time has passed me bye but nothing else matters anymore.
October is now behind us all but it’s coldness still remains and it’s not going to thaw anytime real soon.
I saw it all shattered earlier….
As I was heading back home, I saw the brilliance of a perfectly blown proportion, oh yes I had felt something carefully settle its self to the ground and it scattered.
Someone else had tossed it out but how it had landed was completely up to the moment.
Maybe the moment broke a little bit too soon,...
All I really have to say is that it has come, time has passed me bye but nothing else matters anymore.

WHAT STILL REMAINS
My scars will fade in their own sweet time, but they will without a doubt remain.
Yes, these scars shall remain until my flesh is no longer. These scars will still remain on earth long after I am gone.
Today, these scars remind me that damage has indeed been my reality, as I have already labeled myself before everyone else as being damaged goods.
I have been living to reach the day when I could stand back and prove to everyone else that I could….
And now I am living in the day that I can
I can hurt myself without anyone else’s knowing, oh yes I can kill myself without...

IN MEMORY OF.... EVERYTHING THAT MEANS NOTHING NOW.
In memory of everything that could have been, but all that is nothing now.
In memory of a dead past, a withering present and a dying future.
In memory of my dying future as I was born yesterday destined to die tomorrow, another heartbeat passes but I do not cry. I do not cry because I realize what we are all born knowing that sure as the leaves are changing we are leaving, we are leaving as we are being left behind.
Goodbye my love as you have already passed me bye, but to that I do not cry, I do not cry because I realize that one day I will be seeing you again.
