Save Yourself
All you see around you is fake.
A figment of an imaginary world that you want to see.
You're too blind to open your mind to anything that could possibly be the one and only cure for everything that is making you unhappy.
As I visit the graveyard of my empty thoughts, I see you embracing yours.
While you sit there in silence, hoping to be someone who is having fun.
Nobody is going to save you, because the only person in the world who can save you, is yourself.

Please Stay With Me?
I listen to all of these breakup songs.
And i hope I never get there with you.
I've never been able to admit I'm wrong.
But for now, let's say I do.
I have seen the light, it's in your eyes.
I hope I'm never alone again.
You have erased these lies that have caused me all of this pain.
The feeling is so new, there's something special with you.
My arms remain unharmed, whenever I spend the day with you.
If I could write, this would be better.
But, fuck it, i'm sending you this letter.
Please stay with me?
And i hope I never get there with you.

Quiet Nights
Quiet nights overtaken by silence.
I hear a train in the distance, calling for violence.
I argue with it, telling it to turn around.
You will find nothing of value in this town.
Lonely nights and broken hearts.
Haunting weather, and stinging darts.
Words that feel like turning knives.
Wasted years and alibis.
Strained faces, crooked smiles.
I sit here, all the while.
Looking into the skies, with my tired eyes.
I wish you would rid yourself of this disguise.
Freezing wind, bright headlights.
You’ll find them here, on these quiet nights.

At Season's End
The rain falls like teardrops on a welcoming shoulder.
I know we all feel young, but we're getting older.
I don't want you to tell me how you feel, I want this to be real.
Like the first day I laid eyes on you, there is nothing I can do.
So believe me when I say, I want this to go away.
Like the storms that come to pass around the fog that covers the glass.
We'll write secret messages for the other ones to see.
It will be just you and me, on this beautiful winter evening.
I swear that I am leaving here, but I can't leave you, my dear.
We'll be watching the...

I Love You, Too
Your red hair flows much better when you're in my arms.
I promise that I mean you no harm, but I thought you'd like to know how beautiful you really are, and I believe that all the scars that stain my ugly arms were worth every second I spent waiting for you.
I don't mean to be a bother, but may I say how wonderful you look in that dress, and I am a mess, although I think you'll be able to clean me up pretty well with your enchanting smell of wonderful things that can bring me the type of feelings that I have only dreamed of.

Millions of kids sit alone, day by day, not knowing what to say or do, or if they should grow up to be just like you.
It seems every so often a new monster is born and it's torn between whether it should help them or destroy them, but you know it's not your fault.
It's never the fault of the person who raised them, fed them, cleaned them, because you did the best job that you could, and they are grateful, they really are, but sometimes you just have to listen.
