On The Fence
I've got my finger on the button;
One minute She's all in,
Then again;
the next there is nothing;
I'd hope you'd take my actions
into factor; but rather
because of what they did then,
what I do now doesn't matter?
Acting like I'm preying on
your emotions until your heart is captured
and after that, turning your life into
a disaster?
It is biased to think that
and a double standard;
I may not be your answer to Mr. Right
but don't treat me like a cancer;
Do something for me,
and I'm just asking,
But...

Passing moment
Its not what you read
But perceive
between the lines
Of what my words mean
How they’re hostel
And jostle me to the point
I cant trust my poetry
My dreams control me
Like a puppet
Printed words of serenity
I'm tired of being lost
And my past is the culprit
My poetry isn’t enough
Anymore for this prison;
I'm sick of each sentence
Wasting every passing minute
Someone go get me liquor
And my gun;
Ill down it till its all gone;
Then I'm done
Or maybe I should just run away;
Quit my job,...
But perceive
between the lines
Of what my words mean
How they’re hostel

Just A Thought
A dinner for two
With my misery;
Slipping on the slippery
time trickery
to write history;
To turn the hands
of the clock back,
How does that work?
With a pen and book?
But I don’t know where
My pen and books at;
News flash, leave it alone,
you know you cant change that;
You cant rewrite history
like in the movies;
What a sad fact...
But you know the future
can always be written;
What we have today
you don’t always
get tomorrow
as a given;
Plus life might have
something in store
for you better;...

Change doesn't Change
When we stopped talking
I stopped writing;
A past refection of myself
gone into hiding;
A defining piece of me
I haven’t shown in years,
But It holds on beside me;
That holds onto her
and I won't leave behind me;
All that mattered to me
is seeing her happy;
And when I saw
how happy
with life she was,
I let life be
I stepped back;
Backed off;
Looked forward;
And stepped away;
A decision I regret
Ever since;
And every day;
It won’t change;
Or dissolve;
Evolve;
Or restrain;
I still miss...
I stopped writing;

To start my day
A negative person
Nothing positive about me except aids;
My girlfriend cheats on me everyday
At least I make 10 bucks
When the retirement home
Runs a train
But good news is
I recently got hired

After they caught me

Self and Love
In the desert’s
Hot and lucid weather
With the severed head of a snake
And a trail of vulture feathers
I prey for it to rain
And see my reflection
Reflecting something better
But that would probably
Be a swing for the fence and
Never happen ever
I don’t get it
But I can deny it,
Lie and act as if
I’m just another
Distant guy,
But these nights
The sounds
Sometimes they can be so vivid
I’m timid and livid
Frustrated;
Past the point of existence
Give in and get it

Getting f**ked Up COMPETITON
I can’t remember what I did
But there’s a bag of burritos in my kids crib
And why is my remote control
In the fridge
And who the hell is this girl
I just woke up in bed with
She said her name is Ronald
And we met last night
On craigslist
Can’t remember if she’s a girl
But she claims last night was transcendent
I’m starting to think
Mixing vodka with vicodin
Is highly not recommended;
Now why is there a fat guy
Sleeping on my couch
With an open mouth
And a half eaten corndog hanging out ...

LOST
Lost,
I can’t forget the fantasy I lived in,
whether it came true
I miss hoping for who I’d end with;
We don’t speak anymore
Unless you count the four
time’s we spoke in
the dream the night before,
it’s funny how high you feel
when you’re not even four inches
off the floor;
Stir crazy, Puzzled,
Confused, and Conflicted
Dazed in delusion, Spun out,
Contradicted,
Torn apart, Divided,
Lit up, Clear headed
but blinded,
Past, Present, and Future ...

Untill Then
In the mirror
I see three people;
Me, my reflection,
and my two-faced alter ego;
Defined by the lie that lies
Behind lives of mine
only to be identified
as the hero;
and the root of all evil
I'm dedicated to be
deceitful
deceiving or misleading
people into a shallow grave
or the bottom of a deep pool;
Taking a hold of control
on me isn't right,
I've tried to change
the instincts
of the rabies
on this pitbull
So whats left for me? ...
I see three people;

The Noise of Silence
Alone; with the noise of silence
I sit in stone; nothing to comply with,
the more I resist, the harder it is to fight it
I'm not sure if I can continue to confine it
I cant stand it,
bend it,
break this
or defend it...
why is this happening?
its so hard to comperhend it
questions with no answers
please; help me understand it
I demand it

But Shes changed that...

Insanity...
How it creeps behind you,
inside you,
waiting;
stalking;
When the second hand reaches the summit
the sand runs dry,
time becomes free
but your not
You are a prisoner of yourself,

the monster beneath your mask
I stare through it's windows,
its eyes,

It just stares back, waiting, with what
looks like sockets with tar smeered around them

Once again i’m next in line
Next in line; soon to ride
A ride so twisted, it worps and binds
Binds the soul as well the mind
And what that means I can’t define
However, i’ll explain the rules implied
You see; I understand your still the blind
Pay attention though; theres not much time
First things first; it goes fast and high
It’s not so bad but many have cried
though not from fear; that lies inside
Believe me I know, both how and why
But not today, were short on time
Now listen closly; this rule affects the eye
As many will agree, while...
