Self Imposed Prison
I torture my soul, this I admit
I sold my soul, for the price of a hit
I told myself, I’d never do this again
I’ll lose my mind, my family, and all of my friends
I’ve paid heavy prices, for doing this stuff
But when will it end, and when is enough
I try to comply, and do the right move
It’s the same old result, I always seem to lose
My soul is battered and bruised. I can’t take much more
I’m ready to die, I knock on deaths door
But death doesn’t answer; I’m stuck with this life
I pray for peace, but my reward is strive
I could...

Slinger's Redemption
It’s Malay a brawl, all the way to the end
I been told by many, it should be hard to win
You duck sucker punches, your watching over-hand rights
Its constant baby mama drama, it’s called a slingers life
You’re fighting for a corner, got to get established on the block
You no trouble is coming, because you done stole somebody spot
You hear the talk on the streets, as the shots begin to ring out
It’s survival of the fittest, that’s what it’s all about
The process never changes, always facing prison or county jail
High priced attorneys, always...

THE ANSWER
The Aswer
I’m stuck, I can’t escape this, and it’s got its sharp talons in me
I try to fight the battle; I’ve even tried to flee
But it keeps up with me, never seeming to tire
This damn war I’m in, is becoming quite dire
I’ve given it some time, thinking that would do the trick
But after one more journey, it’s like I never quit
Time didn’t seem to help, so I take a frontal attack
I defeat it this time I think, but the monkeys still on my back
I’ll stop doing everything, try the sober deal once again
But I’m bored and miserable, can’t...

My Body
My Body
My body, my body, has always had my back
My body, my body, has taken the brunt of my attack
I've put things in it, that was not intended for man
So my body, my body, revolts at my plan
I go to the doctor, he gives me the notice
My body, my body, a permanent prognosis
He gives me medicine, to help with the progression
But my body, my body, is in constant regression
So I carry on the best that I can
Trying to keep up, with life's grueling demands
My life today is different, I don't live the same way
I love and forgive, but my...

My Heart Is Hard
My Heart Is Hard
I spent my whole live, on this journey for love
It can only come one-way, and that’s from above
Divine intervention is what it’s gonna take
To fulfill this journey, looking for a soul mate
I’m on my knees, asking questions
Praying with tears, for clear directions
To find someone, that’s different from the start
But the end results the same, another broken heart
I’m a Rockefeller, when it comes to giving my heart
It always gets returned, all torn apart
Every single time, I’m left dealing with the pain
It’s a 911...

Fake Friends
FAKE FRIENDS
You call me a friend, as you pull out a knife
You stab me in the back, not once but twice
Friends for life, but that’s a straight up lie
You aint gotta clue, about Ride or Die
I’m surrounded by wolves that are dressed like sheep
Telling straight lies, dry snitching on me
Claiming it wasn’t you, behind the line up glass
You straight pointed out me, to save your own ass
I’d rather sweat buckets, to search out peace
Than spilling gallons of blood, fighting demons in me
The battle continues, frighten the anger within...
