Two Faced Coin
Love and hate are one side of the same coin
They symbolize empathy, and feeling
You can say that the two words are equivalent
Their counterpart being indifference
That numbing feeling of falling
deeper, deeper into the Vast Abyss
in my own emptiness, unable to stop
Not feeling, not saying, not displaying emotion
This is truly a feeling, to not feel any emotion at all
To be passive at all times,
I can see why indifference gets it's own side

Bad Conscience
I hold in scorn this very destructive criticism
For those who must be sentenced uphold their devilish cynicism
So what sets me apart from their so called elitism?
Is it my foolishness?
My sad human reality?
I know not for this flesh is as ruthless as the rest
To thee who rests with the crown
Turn your head away and pretend you fellow man doesn't drown
Why bother helping others and step down?
After all our presence on this planet is already in the countdown
Fall and believe soon we will fall to inevitability
Although we are human...

The Man who laughs
"The Man who Laughs"
Mistah J isn't so bad
So what if his hair is green and greasy
His lips are permanently glued in that sinister smile
His face crooked and white as snow?
Of all people in the world, he's not the craziest.
What about the B-man himself:
dressing up as a flying rat.
Mistah J is unique,
His eyes, so empty, so cold
His clothes,so original,so uncaring
His laugh, so frantic, so untamed
what if Mistah J burns mounds of money,
Or dresses up has a nurse?
Mistah J is a unique soul, so bizarre in his...

What is Love?
The throbbing of my broken heart,
now shackled and locked away,
I can hear much luoder,
through the night,
than words we never say.
As empty kisses turn to dust
and fall against my skin,
I pray that I might find
the strength to fall in love again.
Abandoned innocence,
stripped away,
dumped on the floor.
In the dirt, I bury hope
that love leaves unlocked doors.
I am embraced,
though never adored,
yet to be made whole.
My tears can wipe themselves away,
but I must save my soul.
Bare feet, run, lead me home,...

At an End
I guess it's really over huh?
there's no more me and you
and now I must face the truth.
I don't get what this is all about
or why your going back to the things
that defiled,abused and almost killed you
You think I'm trying to hurt you
when really your the one hurting me
except you are too blind to notice.
I'm not sure what I ought to do
considering I already lost you
and I may never get you back.
I can't believe that this is it
it was over for us
before it had even begun.
there's no more me and you
and now I must face the truth.

Hopeless Romantic
I feel rubbish
because of love.
My love was raw, unrelenting
and I dove in it head over heels.
But then i saw her with him and
for that moment those few seconds
I went numb then
My love collapsed
demolishing everything I had know
everything that was real then
left me stranded.
What is wrong with me?
Am I so undesirable? unlovable?
