Remember A Time
Looking out and all you see
A time where life was careless and free
Where all the dreams dance in the night
Filling your life
No worry in sight
Smiles run from
East to west
North to south
Children laughing
Filling the wind in the air
Life just danced
In the
Eyes of a child
Looking out and all you see

Feeling like you ruled the world
How I miss those careless days...
But sitting here looking back
Puts a smile on my face

Thunder rolls
Lighting flashes

Shaking the earth
You thunder again
Waking me from my sleep
I didn't know

You been thundering for years
I look around
Feel what I see

It's muffled
But I hear something
Thunder
Thunder is here
But still

For once again
Here I am
Laying right next to you

I've been lost

I've been thrown back to sea

Drifting away
I'm scared to say
Can't you see I need saving too
I've been beaten

All while waiting for you

Locked in a world within myself
Where my ideas are thoughts flow
Bouncing off the wall
Wanting out
But there is no where to go
Bleeding onto the paper
As the words flow in my veins
Written for the world to read
I write to have my voice heard

I write for my paper and pen

A punching bag if you would
The roller coaster

Heat setting fire to the room
Electrity running between us
Pulling me in
Lighting strikes with every touch
