POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
I am nobody, who are you? Are you somebody or nobody too? If you please stop by, come and sit down. I have so much to tell, but no one to listen. Won't you be my voice of reason?
Funny How Things Changed
There once was a girl I knew who thought that she knew her place.
Knew who she was and what she was supposed to be, meant never to fall from grace.
She thought that she was meant to be strong and brave; meant to stand like a brick wall and never meant to cave.
She could see that things between them were sadly starting to fall.
But sadly she didn't want to see anything change at all.
She begged and pleaded and cried to not make a choice.
She wanted to be loved by someone-- Someone willing to fight.
She tested them both, something she should...

Waking Up The Devil
"It's okay my little poppet."
The growl that escapes your throat allows me to know that the demon has escaped his cage, the cage that's bars I've been rattling all night-- Running my hands over you, breathing down your neck, kissing your lips, neck, chest-- I want you, I want to push you and so I rattle the bars of the cage that you kept locked for so long. Unlocking the door, and undoing the chains that tied him down. Your eyes change--
That's the first sign that you've been possessed by the darker side of your personality.
They flash, quick with the...

Let The Record Show
Do you have any scissors?"
Why to stab you in the throat for making me feel this way? Making me into the blame, making me into the enemy? Is this how they all felt afterwards, who really was the evil ex in your failed relationships, was it them or you? Oh I'm sorry-- Did I just hit a nerve, did I just hit a pressure point? For once I'm not sorry, you did this to yourself. Because the truth is my pretty little Pareidolia, you broke up with me-- You could have saved me but instead you murdered me, you could have kept me but instead you gave me away, you could have fought for me, but...

Metamorphosis
Multicolored hair gives way to solid color with one simple streak, cut from it's waves of normality that it's use to having. Same brown eyes that use to see only her have found someone new, after going days dealing with being sick with an illness and sick over lost love I have mended and come to the conclusion. Tonight as we laid next to each other, my eyes drifting from the screen of the movie we were suppose to be watching and over to your eyes, my lips couldn't stay away from your mouth and your neck, the sighs that my ears drank in drove me to a new level of insane. I knew then the...

You Decide
Whose choice was it when my father handed me over to my mother and allowed her to drag me where ever she wanted like a key chain hooked to her key ring?
Whose choice was it to get a restraining order against my father so that neither my mother or I could see him?
Whose choice was it to not be there when my grandmother died?
Whose choice was it for me to quit school and then go back?
Whose choice was it for me to fail everything I do?
Whose choice was it for my mother to leave for six months and my father to never be there for most of my life?
Whose choice was it for...

Green Eyed Saviour (A Rant)
Hazel eyes, brown in the shadows and when the sunlight hits them they spark into green emeralds. Your mouth on mine, my knees get weak-- My world stops spinning for once, everything is calm-- Everything is at peace for once, there is no pain no worrying. I am no longer me and you are no longer you, we are strangers drifting aimlessly on the continental shelf. We are wandering spirits that's fibers entertwined when you followed me out of my house when you stopped me from ending my life, when you turned me to face you and looked me in the eyes-- All the planets aligned and it was just you and...

Tell Me Why
You say it.
She says it.
He says it.
They say it.
I've said it.
Why do you say it?
Tell me why?
What are you use to?
Who has hurt you?
How many times have you been abused?
How many nights have you starved?
How many times has you mother burned you with that cigarette?
Why?
Tell me why.
Why are you use to it?
Use to what?
Abuse?
Insults?
Blame?
Pain?
Hurt?
What are you use to?
Why do you always say this?
Who hurt you so much that made you think like this?
Why are you like this?
Everything...

The One
Shut down. . .
Mind.
Organs.
Heart.
Humanity.
My body becomes of weapon, survivoral of the fitest-- Animals insticts have returned, if it moves it's prey. Human blood tastes as sweet as chocolate once did to me, I remember what it was like to be alive. To breathe air and not ash, to smell ambrosia instead of the iron scent of blood. To taste food instead of human flesh, to feel emotion instead of the yearn for human blood. I saw my family ripped apart by my own nails and teeth, I tasted my parents blood and ripped out my sister's organs and watched her blood soak into...

Soul Mate
--And even though she may indeed be the holder of my heart but he is truely the keeper of my soul. Red flames dance across my face and the world ceases the exist. Miester and weapon become one. There for when I need you, meant to protect me no matter what but still I hold back-- Disrupted from outside forces and black blood takes hold, I need to save you as you have many times protected me.
My soul.
My love.
Our love is a state of mind like believing one even has soul, it's there but it can't be seen. Close enough to become one, too alike to ever say goodbye, different enough not...

Everybody's Girl
Everybody's girl since a very young age when I was caught in no man land of my parents war, their rapture became my life. Always fighting, wanting me to choose-- Using me as a weapon to get back at the other, forcing, poking, pulling, pushing at me to choose--
Choose
Choose
Choose
Choose
Good or bad?
Mom or dad?
But even when the choice was made I still was thrown into situations where I was caught in the middle. Whether I wanted to be with my mom or stay in Massachusetts with my family? Deal with my mother's new husband who hated me because she was happy or fear...

Don't Tell Me
Speak to me.
Don't tell me.
Listen to me.
Don't hear me.
Hold me.
Don't touch me.
Kiss me---
Breathe into me.
And take my breath away.
Hold me close.
But please hold back.
Love me.
Don't leave me.
Ask me.
Answer me.
Don't judge me.
But tell me when I am wrong.
Show pride for me when I'm right.
Be my savior.
Be my conscience.
Be my hero.
Be my shadow.
Be my friend.
Hear me.
Listen.
Speak to me.
But. . .
Don't tell.
Don't tell me.
Listen to me.
Don't hear me.
Hold me.
Don't touch me.
Kiss me---
