True beauty
The war that young men fought
stained history with blood
But those brave men themselves
Made this world a more beautiful place
Those who are blind
Only know the beauty
of those who speak kind words
And those who are deaf
Only know the beauty of those who do kind things
Beauty is not physical,
Its an intangible act made for others.
True beauty is sacrifice.
True beauty is kindness.
True beauty is love.

Making you smile
Making you laugh
Calling you my brother

How hard it was for me to say
"I love you"
But I know the toll it took on you
To get the truth out of me

Letting you in, and the pain I felt every time we spoke...
For I had never known any kind of love before...
Had never known kindness, caring or happiness
I would be in bliss to experience that sweet torture to my soul For a thousand years if it meant...

Dont trust your father
Don't trust father
My mother would always say that to me
Don't trust your father don't trust your father don't trust your father
Those words would spin around my head like the wheels of a bicycle. Turning and turning.
But I never understood what they meant.
Don't trust your father don't trust your father don't trust your father
Now that I'm older I realize I should have listened to her
Now that I'm older I remember all the little things he did that seemed like no big deal at the time
but now are the things I think about the most
when he seemed to disappear...

The Red Hare
A fox
a fire fox
a demon fox
a white nine-tailed demon fox
a yokai
it hides
behind suzu
behind the bells of her voice
under the sapphire sky,
away from those bleeding Violet eyes
of the moon
gone in a flash
back to his beloved
the red hare
scarlet lips and crimson eyes
ruby hair smooth and soft
warmth
her spirit delights
even the sun
she giggles and plays
with the sweet scent of strawberries
her alluring perfume
nightshade eyes,
charcoal lips ,sleek black

cold
All I've ever learned
In my life
Is coldness
I know the feeling,
Love it, crave it
Let it take me over
Because when my heart is locked in ice
I don't have to be hurt anymore.
I won't feel others words, hugs or kisses
I can just live like the hollow person that I am
Maybe one someone will thaw me out
I doubt it
But untill then
I think I'll just stay here
In my icy wonderland
In my life

A wish for death
With the rise and the fall of the tree's so divine
there can only be one thing I love
cherry blossoms sway and dance to the rhythm the wind blows
there is only one song I may sing
Let them free, sparkling fairy's shedding light to darkened clouds
let it be known a princess can never be saved by her true love after he saves her from the towering castle she rests in
when the rain falls down, I'm on my knees
praying for only one reason
pleading with heart
rinse my sanity away
I ache to feel the vibrations of thunder

To My unborn daughter
who grew steadily in my womb
I picked out a name for you
a name that means the world to me
Kate, after my best friend
I bought clothes for you,
white and yellow onesies
white because you were the start of a brand new life
for me and for you
Yellow because as the sun is the center of our solar system,
you are the center of mine and brighter than a star
I sang to you, even though you weren't born yet
every night my lips produced the lullaby of Daisy Bell
and everyday I plucked fresh daisy's to place...

If you took the time
If you took the time to listen,
you could hear whispers of help
not cries, no
never cries for help
If you took the time to see
the missing little pieces
in an otherwise giant puzzle
where you would not have noticed the empty spaces before
If you took the time to inhale
just one breath after the other
and stopped to smell the roses
every once in awhile
maybe you would realize
that people are dying
from hungry diseases
and the women in our society
don't know the feeling of innocence

follow me here to the place where you can not be hurt
come to my garden veiled in the shadows

pain and murder
beauty and love
rape and passion

to a safe place
where the sky cannot sway

Beautiful flower

planted by a grazing dart

never did I realize
an invisible string followed that seed in there
It took some time, but surely

To My Little Bird
I'm so grateful for you, you have no idea how much I appreciate and rely on your existence. Without your knowing, your outstretched arm was my pillar of support, your laughter the only thing I could hear. You think I helped you to survive, you think I am a strong person who will let you lean on them if your legs are to weak to stand. In all honesty you were my unknowing hero and a friend I desperately needed.
So, I thank you for every sweet word you've written towards me.
