Hopelessly Behind
Head is clouded with constant pain
Stomach twisting in evident vain
Coughs erupting from times in the rain
The sneezes will also leave an unwanted stain
How do you expect me to learn
When my mind is cloudy, foggy
The sickness makes it hard to focus
The lack of sleep makes me eternally groggy
The names don't stick
The numbers are meaningless
All the stupid formulas create
in my mind, a useless mess
Slow down
I cant help my terrible mind
Please let me catch up
I'm hopelessly behind

Waiting
Porcelain sculptures
line the walls
People in vain
Wait in the halls
Saltwater streams
flowing secretly down faces
quickly swept away
leaving no traces
The little sculptures
painted with smiles, make-up
Remind me of those in the hall
The unwanted space they take up
Their smiles aren't true
obviously a show
physically nor emotionally
They never grow
Who are they
those in the corridor
They are the waiting ones
But waiting, what for?

they try and act pleased
to get a good ending
no feelings released...

Pointless
Its only been days
It feels like much longer
staying tucked inside
nothing feels wronger
I could be making memories
emotions skyrocketing, so much fun
But instead Im alone
The days coming undone
Time's just an illusion
Nothing is truer
Boredom stretches it
Interest makes it fewer
So of course seconds are hours
absence of tasks make tension grow
Everyone above me watches with laughter
As I sit pointlessly down below
It feels like much longer

I'm so broken
Crippled and damaged
Heart has been trampled
So disadvantaged
Why would you want me
Theres so much thats wrong
So much to hate
or have you known all along?
Did you know what lies
behind my happy exterior
Whats really there
My disheartened interior
Did you know
what you got yourself into
Can you hang on for me?
It might be worth it for you
Crippled and damaged

Tragedy I see with both my eyes
Everywhere they're starting their own harming fires
But in the end, everyone dies
Thanks to the corruption and their birth mothers: liars
All of the damage is blatantly shown
Burned is everything we have and own
Overcome with ignorance, pride
They are left with everything to hide
They all bask in their wrongful glory
Feed everyone their made up story
Of one another, they're living in spite
Shining days show their true horror of night
They're using all the innocent as their legs

I actually sat down and starting thinking
Of everything that is wrong with me
If you want to read a self-revelation,
come along and see
I acted like such a freak
I cared about nothing, but I came out smart
People hated me and I had such a stupid
Terrible start
I loved the nerds
and not the amazing kind
and none of it ever occurred
to me in my narrow idiot mind
I took me spelling and hopped on a bandwagon

Rain rain, please come stay
Never ever go away
Lightning lightning also may
take up all the night and day
Let not be seen a single light ray
Flood the streets all the way
Put all my many worries at bay
Hurry now, with no delay
Bring hard winds, so trees sway
And crash on them so that they
Will never know that I say
I hate them more than a thousand ways
Then come down on my house today
Relieve me of my horrors, decay
Leave the living with debts to pay
Fill my lungs with water, so with death I can forever lay
Never ever go away

Elementary School Ties
Its been a while since we spoke
I moved away and you did too
We talked for a while but
Honestly, who are you?
You've got a boyfriend I don't know
Your fiery red hair replaced with dyes
So much has changed but I wonder if
If you have even realized
We were best friends
bonds that seem strong
We thought they'd never break
But would they ever last long?
We're are separate, no longer one
Wait, but were we ever?
I think not, but maybe we'll learn
Elementary school ties don't last forever

Consequence I'll Have to Take
You make it so hard to hate you
You call me babe and flirt away
Then leave me in suspense
For days upon days
Then come back to me
Treat me like a Goddess
And leave me in your silence
And make such a mess
When you spoke it was enticing
Then you would stop out of nowhere
And I try to hold on to my love
But how can I tell if yours is even there?
Its a hard decision
One that I'll have to make
I have to make the right choice
and the consequence I will have to take
