Poet Introduction
I am. What else it there to say? My likes, dislikes, loves and wishes, mean nothing if I do not acknowledge that I simply am. That I breathe and experience. There is no greater explanation.
Do You Care?
Why do you care
What I do with my life?
Why do you care
Who I am?
As you sit in a corner crying,
My heart is slowly dying;
Free yourself, pick me up,
And love me till my soul begins its flying.
What I do with my life?
Why do you care
Who I am?
As you sit in a corner crying,
My heart is slowly dying;
Free yourself, pick me up,
And love me till my soul begins its flying.

Blind Breath
I am alive and breathing,
My heart is barely beating,
As the room fills with hushed whispers,
For I lay with breath not seeing.
My heart is barely beating,
As the room fills with hushed whispers,
For I lay with breath not seeing.

In Love With a Ghost
My heart is a haunted place,
Though once it was not,
It was full of innocence and play,
Not understanding what it sought.
And then one summer, I met him,
He who dressed himself with charm,
And I was so hurt for love,
That I did not see the harm.
But it was hidden in the shadows,
In the splendor of his eyes,
And with such beautiful masks,
He decorated hideous lies.
I did not understand that I had invited
My once trusting heart to be haunted,
But the knowledge came in a rush,

I've a Premonition of Evil

“Men to the Left”
“Women to the Right”
“Mercy!”
“Yitgadal veyitkadach shme raba…”
“Form Fives”
Hunger, unbearable hunger
Sleep

Death by gas

“Bite your lip little brother,
Wait”
“They fear trouble”
“Comrades, you’re in the concentration camp of

Cursed from the Start
I never asked, I never will,
But never forget, I'm angry still.
You took off, never a chance,
To let my angry, violent words dance.
Why was it too much to ask,
Why was it such a heavy task,
To simply tell me why
Before you let your silence utter good-bye?
Months of nothing left me cold,
And to the frigid wind, was your love sold.
Then you came to make a request,
Who do you take me for, as I drowned in your mess?
'Forgiveness for past transgressions'?
Oh, I forgot, military doesn't teach you humble lessons.
No 'forgive me,...

Comes the Tears
Falls, falls, comes the tears,
The deadly stain of raging fears.
The morbid truth to a broken heart,
Lay dripping sore, the river start;
Come trembling from flooded eyes,
As if to drown the broken disguise.
The heart embrace these languid drops,
To insist this hollow throbbing stops,
And ease the feeling of utter despair,
For his words crushed all hopes of wanting care.
So curl up, she in her crystal tear river,
As she lay amongst her heart's shattered slivers.
A hopeful time from far away,
brought dripping sorrows, here to stay....

Hunter of the Language Keeper
Tecumseh looked out over the steep cliffs that dropped into the long beaches of Bandon, Oregon. His eyes skipped over dozens of people congregating on the beach in an effort to escape an unusually hot June day, as he searched for the one that he would have.
Children played in the crashing waves, while parents watched. Farther down, escaping the thrashing of little bodies were fishermen. Dogs wove through the laughing crowed and joined children in the rough waves. A few couples, hand in hand walked the beach, enjoying the soft sand. But he skipped over all of this, until he came...

I Am
I am lonely in a crowded room
I wonder if it is me or is that selfish for me to assume?
I hear their laughing, the easiness of their chatter
I see their wonderful smiles, the sparkle in their eyes, simpleness is all that matters.
I want to be free, to dance to trusting tune,
But I am lonely in a crowded room.
I pretend to be strong
I feel all this wrong.
I touch my walls, I fear their fall
Yet I worry with their presence, he will never hear my heart's lonely call
I cry, hidden beneath the moon
And still I am lonely in a crowded room
I...

Chosen
Black, Red, and White
Black, red, and white
Tell me what they have in common
Showdown at midnight
Saints, Sinner, all alike
You have been chosen
In the Blink of an eye
Chaos rules the sky
In counts of three
The skies changin’ green
Can you hear the thunder of heaven?
Can you hear the Martyr’s song?
Can you hear our Elyon crying,
As wickedness of the world rules on?
Black, Red, and White
Tell me what they have in common
Showdown at midnight
Saints, Sinners, all alike
You have been chosen

So I Cried
I got dressed today,
but no one looked.
I spoke today,
but no one heard.
I fell today,
but no one cared.
So I cried today,
and everyone stared.
They hadn't seen over my walls,
or through the cloth of my thick cloak.
But when I cried they noticed.
I was gifted
I am invisible,
I am the strong, solid blank.
When I cried,
they saw me.
When I cried,
they heard me.
When I cried,
they came to comfort me.
Now I want to be invisible again.
but no one looked.
I spoke today,
but no one heard.
I fell today,
but no one cared.
So I cried today,
and everyone stared.
They hadn't seen over my walls,
or through the cloth of my thick cloak.

Forgotten Angel
Forgotten Angel,
Invisible, cries
Pick up the pieces
Cause a broken heart will never let you fly
She gathered them close
But shattered they stayed
The price for love -
Paid as her wings simply fell away
Sullied is she
Abandoned by light,
Curls up from the cold
As she disappears from sight
In despair, she's given up,
Up on love and up on hope
Solitude, he took away
Her faith, her trust, her every ability to cope
Shattered Angel
Stand up, be strong
For it was...

Sea found Wonder
There is power here, in the salty mists of the sea-brine air
There is majesty in the rolling of her crashing waves
There is compassion in her endless expanse as she tends to the horizon's care
There is wisdom in the salty spray that bathes the wind burned face
There is magic in the green sparking stars of burning sea-soaked wood,
A journey in the grains that he tells in the leaping flame.
There is a truth in the way the mighty ocean,
Swallows the engorged red sun in the days ending game.
There is an innocent favor in the velvet blankets of sun-tanned...
