A Hit of Hiphop
Knowledge Reigns Supreme
Over Nearly Everyone
While the cat's
Busy chasing C.R.E.A.M
My Mouse Outfit
Can have some fun.
A masked preacher of DOOM said
"This modern life's kinda Lupe,
You need stop and smell the roses
Before your memorial bouquet".
To grow a tree you plant a seed
Common sense, Most Definitely
Feed The Roots, and green shoots
Sprout out into leaves.
The same is applied
To your De la Soul
Fires can burn brighter
When fueled with J.Cole,
Still some drink a 2pac
Inhale...

Squires in the Struggle (Inner Monologue Version)
I don't live a "dramatic" life, you know?
most people would say that makes me boring
but
I don't waste my time with most people.
My time's for my friends,
So I guess they're "boring" too.
Haha, Don't get me wrong,
They are unique, inspiring people
Still, predictable
Blockbusters lead to squeals.
Course there's nothing wrong with that,
Creatures of habit n all
But yeah, in the end
It's same old same old
When you think about it
We're just there, together, existing.
Yet at the core,...

Squires in the Struggle
I don't live a "dramatic" life,
Some people say that makes me boring
Some people tell me their "dramatic" tales
And my face starts contorting
I'm yawning
My brain is snoring.
I guess my friends are "boring" too
Well I see unique,
Inspiring people
Shared nights fit for silver screen,
Now somehow
Our nights feel like sequels.
It's a combination
That requires investigation
Were fighting for a living
While embracing intoxication.
You could say it's predictable
That we're all creatures of habit ...

Divine communication.
I'm cracking under the psudeo-pressure
brought on from self-determination
I'm judging myself
hence the poetic probation
Holding out for the holy verse
but writing is my medication
I could write for the sake,
just to ease my frustration
buts whats the point in writing
if you can't make a fucking statement?
Perhaps there's to much expectation
for divine communication
They say good things come to those who wait
..maybe I'm impatient.

Adulterous Rhymes
I don't rap cus that could mean
I don't believe what I'm saying
I don't spit cus this ain't standard
bullshit that I'm spraying
I'm just thinking out loud
reflective audible praying
maybe I'll write this down
immortalise thoughts I'm conveying.
But when I whisper
I'm the hiss that emits
from the can of your graff man,
dropping banksy's on the taxman.
I'm tagging the walls of your mind

Zuckerburg gets a dime
but artists get fined
cus street art is deemed a crime?!

A theft in progress
Listen man,
This isn't going to be
Just another bad day
Because I've had one to many
Now someone has to pay
Today is the day
Where the culmination of stress
Is finally too much
And now I socially regress
Back to fight or flight
Back to an eye for an eye
I can't see clearly
'Cus they already took mine
I've got nothing against you
I don't want to end your life
But I'm under a circumstantial thumb
And now your under my knife
But this ain't no nip and tuck

Mount Hindsight
I've been dreaming of you
not every night but
from time to time
you've obviously made an impression
to be converted into rhyme.
Maybe it's a sign
my waking self
snoozed and loosed.
I don't beat myself up but
I've often been accused by
the man in the mirror
the aged adolescent
the born sinner.
Glazed red eyes
still want the prize
still he never tries
to be the winner.
So it's easy come easy go
and if easy comes I don't complain
'Cus I know easy will go,
am I playing alone
or playing my...

But I don't play by statistics
Build a house of cards with
Surgically precise linguistics
The king of the castle
Without the picture card spouse
I'm one of a kind
Alone in a full house
I run my mouth
8 mile straight
Still I'm coming up flush
My mind gushes
Like a river
I'm texas holding my tounge

My friend once said,
"Religion and God are dead,
In our modern age
We have Internet instead".
I don't know about you
But I'd have to agree
Seems like lately
It's all that I see.
Illuminates faces in the dark
Dose that make us Holy?
It dictates most of our lives
People depend on it wholly.
It's for everyone
Royalty to bourgeoisie
There's no collection plate
But there is a nominal fee.
There's no preacher
But there are power's that be
No commandments, but censorship
You only see what they...

A Definition Of God (By Grandad Follows)
To think of God in mans own likeness
Clouds the mind and dulls the brightness
That man should feel himself so favoured
Makes his thinking far more laboured.
So look for God in Natures glory
Then you'll see a different story
The world has wonders rarely hidden
Which come to the for when they are bidden.
The oneness which includes us all
Is Natures answer to a call
The power that generates constant life
Portrays a God who is forever rife.
Clouds the mind and dulls the brightness

At the Crossroads, with the Jones's
I met..an interesting girl
although our interaction was brief
the tale she regaled
reevaluated my beliefs.
Twas at my mediocre local
on Tuesday last week
that she stole my attention
pretty petite thief.
Her eyes covered by a fringe
like a blade in a sheath
and as they pierced into mine
she began to speak.
~
"I think..I'm confused
like my life's at a crossroads
I'm searching for direction
but my internal compass has froze.
Am I supposed to know,
what do I want to be?
what my goals are in...
although our interaction was brief

This poem is average
I guess I've always been average,
Or so society would tell me.
Academically, physically, socially.
On average
2.5 million people were born this week
I believe each one of them
Is truly unique
That means, You are too

And no one else can come close too.
If this is true,
Most of us must unfortunately choose to
Suppress how special we really are
We subscribe to someone else's behavior
'Cus it's easier to imitate
Then to create ones self from scratch.
