Pride is a sin
Watch it carefully
Or it will tear you apart
It whispers in your ear
Cloying and sweet
To shift the blame
Who will it hurt?
Not you
Where is the harm
Of being pleased with yourself
Your reputation
Your image
It will crush your
Love

Friends

Life
Pride is bitter

I dont think you were born mean
Your far too nice for that
I feel sorry
for your learned habits
But can I bear to put up with
Im not sure I can

The glimmers of chiveraly
That I see occasionaly
Are destroyed because

You Bully
Common, show of hands
Who thinks they've done well?
Come on, don't be shy
Oh yes, i thought you would
But there are a few myths i'd like to dispel
Lead by example?
Don't make me laugh
My childhood was spent in pubs
Hiding in corners
learning life's lessons
From books, leaving homework till calls last
Support me through school
When it pleases you
You give yourself all the credit
But lets not forget
You made me feel my best
Before my physics GCSE, what a self confidence slam
You're an alcoholic...

Living in Fog
My lamp is flickering
The fuel is running low
I don't know how long i have
My feet are dragging
My strength is flagging
Any sense of direction long gone
The fog that surrounds me
This indecision that hounds me
My moral compass nothing more than a lie
Truths are obscured
And my path it's procurred
I don't know if i'd care if i died

It's the nothing but knowledge
The refusal of why
Its the completing the task
And not seeing the prize
Its the trying to find whats
been missing inside

My Wonderful Fear
For the first time in awhile
I feel terror
But the good kind
The kind that you beg for it to stop
But feel bereft when its gone
The kind that sparks envy in others
And you dream about when your alone
Its amazing to feel at all
And if i fail, if i fall
I will not regret my terror

As to confuse
Two very different loves
I would ruin everything
On a ridiculous chance
Throw the one last thing
Keeping me strong
She does not think me wrong
Nor dull, nor a fool
But if i tell her
She will think
My friendships based on a baser tool
My sister in spirit
My always run away home
How confusing life is
How strangely love grows

She Wants
She screams
In agony
Dying inside
Begging someone
To listen to her
But the problem is
If someone did
They would be nosy
Could never understand
Or help
To her, they are failed attempts
At what though?
I want to ask her
Why don't you want to be happy
You glorify in misery

How could actually want,
To live this way?

For some they actually try
