LOVE POEM

Did I mention...
Did I mention you possess the dimensions?
of a goddess of pure imagine and intentions.
with sex in the city running through my mind.
The worst is to to think you have nothing but time.
wondering how this all could be make believe.
thinking there is much more in the world to see.
i cant be everything and everywhere all at once.
hardly know the difference between needs and wants.
Ab Dolly in the morning, Seroquel in the evening.
Late not fiening got me mentally cheating.
knowing damn well i should have been leaving
but cowardly i remain limboed and...

Baseball
Im batting .250 an average not too proud about.
everytime i step to the plate, i think i might strike out.
when i look in the mirror i notice my uniform's not clean.
My bat only hits singles, not enough to stay on the team.
I hit it over the fence-the fans threw it back.
tough crowd focused on what i might lack.
and when im a free agent the double A teams acquire my sevice.
And when I am in the big game sometimes i get nervous.
Never been an All-Star I was caught doing drugs.
In my bathroom defying gravity and refusing hugs.
Insatiable...

Lustand love thepolarizing affairs
with lust spawns hate, the deceptiondisguised.
Melancholyresultslike frigidaires.
Thawed mentallyby piercing blue brown eyes.
We suppressedlove's oppresion, timesold short.
Ignorning life's lesson, missions abort.
Seems decades away. When we talk there's pain.
Crush hurts both ways and your love is a strain.
Triedto cleanse my mind back in the same place.
Humans, still searching, prompting thesefacades--
Moreso indulgent we meet face to face.
The oasislies and is a mirage.

The ticket
Of course a reminder that utopia does not exist
or cannot be possessed, but we still try hard.
it was said to be reckless but i was all alone
on this open road following my soul
only to be interrupted by the lesson of slow down.
i am to slow down? i do not desire the slug
that creeps slimey, prudent and vulnerable.
but now i must report my wrong doings
to the judge as if i were a true criminal.
i plea not guilty, no explantation needed.
or cannot be possessed, but we still try hard.

I wanted to get a head last night
but there was so much bone
that i'd rather masturbate to your clone.
My skin- scarred and keloiding
andyou can count how many veins
yet you still asphyiate the pains
In the catacombs of mind
wheremy strokes
well mastered, provoked.
by a perfect image-The Amazon
well accustomed to the spear
whilepleasantries bring fear.

OBSERVATIONAL POEM

Landing skids
Around the table of vitality
one by one we pluck pedals
and know our realities are misguided perceptions
yet we grab on to that distortion
we call landing skids
in hopes that we will rise to freedom.
Therise is really self-motivation or
self sabotage cemented by seeds of siege
and when paralyzed- mummified
we know it will never bloom or reach
the vibrant potential of a chrysanthemum.

Timing
The reason why there is only me? Ill timed actions.
Uncontrollable, eratic, impulsive. A road well traveled.
And it leads me to a conclusion, forgone
how dreadfully wonderful evil lives in this world.
I was vigilant for so long. But my soul, far from pure.
came crashing down-- i cannot play anymore.
close to home sothey cant be dissapointed.
and the inner child screams "be happy!" But i will not be annointed.
So I travel to disgrace book dot com. A trip down memory strain.
Locked entries of people who surely have forgotten my name....

Girl you like a dream come true
Girl you like a dream come true
Ever since the first day I met you.
Hot summer days we played water balloons.
Fried like fillets- that's what I'll be soon.
Rehab in my life-- that's what I need too.
Turn the clocks back to high or middle school.
that's when I met you-- childhood innocence.
Our relationship was nothing significant.
Still I reminisce and I wonder if
Was that thing for real? Were you heaven sent?
Will I push it away? Before I repent?
Do I deserve this? Is this worth it?

Epic Poem, part 1
BIg ambition. Little execution.
Of a life that takesthirty. That's one-third or three fifths...
a band underappreciated, I'mlost, searching,
teaching, guiding, assisting,yet I remainincomplete.
In the moment I stay goal-settled and vision-oriented.
My shoes remain untied for the journey.
To trip and fallforwards, the destination of mis-steps.
Thick skin and heavy hearted navigating.
Lacks responsibility,this solo mission and pursuit for "she"
who is out there but apologies to the current-
these rough waters, tides controlled...

So perfect in every way imaginable.
a shelter from the cold and good company.
I will make a spot at my place.
Light candles and play slow tunes.
With a vision so soon, i paint this picture
with strokes relentless I am the pursuer.
This message in a bottle hope gets to you.
and acts as our awakening , both of us.
i know what i want but i act a little shy.
even when i get a sound reaction
aim slow with prudence and persistance.
hoping there is a mutual attraction.
