Can we go back?
Can we go back?
To when you needed me for everything.
To when all you knew was me.
To when all we needed was each other.
I miss the feeling of having you at all times,
waking up to you every morning was my favorite thing.
It's amazing how time flew,
two years ago we were inseparable.
And now,
well… Look at us.
You'll always be my favorite person,
and it breaks my heart knowing that you don't remember any of this.
I don't know how I'm going to leave next year,
And not have you like I want to… Or at least how I have...

Never Again
In less then a month
I'll never see you again
I'm not sure if it's joy I feel or if it's anger
To never see you again
Seems something like a blessing
To not have to worry
Or feel like I can fix things for you anymore
To never see you again
Reminds me of a never ending thought
Are you okay? What's happened?
Questions that I'll never have an answer to
To never see you again
Will be the best and worst thing that's ever happened
Because you'll never be more than just a memory
But you'll always remain the biggest part of me

I miss the simplicity of being young.
Not craving somebody else
Not being afraid to be myself
How happiness was always present
How every day was enjoyable
Now everything's different,
Why'd I want to grow up so badly...

Strange Addiction Pt. 2
You were my strange addiction...
As kids, we were warned about the drugs in the streets,
but never the ones with green eyes and a heartbeat.
"They make me feel better about myself"
We were never warned that we could become addicted to a person similar to the way that we could to the strongest narcotic
I was addicted to you.
When I would not speak to you for a short amount of time,
I felt as if I was going through withdraws similar to drugs.
"I need them"
You were like my personal prescription of Vicodin,...

Letter to myself, letter to you.
My motivation and passion always seems to fade away so easily.. Sometimes too easily.
But it was never that way with you. Things were different. We were different.
I always used to say to myself that there ain't no woman like the woman that I got. I was right, and I hate that.
Within you, I would lose my self. And without you, I found myself wanting to be lost again.
Nothing seemed right without you there.
I never wanted to let you go. I held onto you so tight..
But then i realized that I was holding onto something that didn't exist...
But it was never that way with you. Things were different. We were different.

Sticks and Stones
It could have all been avoided.
She was new.
She was different.
School was getting tough.
Home wasn’t any better.
Nobody cares. You’ll never be good enough. You don’t matter.
What a lie.
All alone, everywhere she went.
One person was all she needed.
Forced into self-hate every day so you could make yourself feel better.
Crying herself to sleep every night believing everything that was said to her.
Cracking at the seams visible to everyone around her.
Why did nobody help her?

Lost Soul
I would give everything to never think of you again.
I want to lose every memory of you and I clean from my mind like you ridded me of yours, I want to lose every distinguishable thing that reminds me of you, I want to lose every thought of you from my mind like how I lost your number and how I once lost myself.
But it seems that I can only hold onto the things that I want to lose.
I've been thinking of the first day that we met.

Blast From the Past
The talks that we used to have came flooding over me today like the down pour in the midst of a hurricane. & I was left in a sea of emotions not knowing what to feel at the moment.
Reading our old conversations... I swore I'd never fall for you, but I fell.
Everything about you to me was perfect. Everything.
The way that you would smile as if nothing was wrong in your life, even though everything was going horribly.
The twinkle in your eye's shined brighter than a thousand suns, even when you were sad.
The lack of confidence that you had in yourself was...

Paths
There's always paths that you can take in your life.
The most common, the good path and the bad path.
But you can also go down the far less travelled path, the one that comes to a dead and the one that no body knows about.
But there's nothing better than starting your own path.

In Love With The Idea
Lonely nights,
Not a soul to talk to.
Feelings left unsaid,
Memories drifting away.
Want someone to share everything with,
But always get left with nothing.
Don't know whether to cross the line,
One side hurt and the other side is numb.
I guess I'm just in love with the idea of being in love,
In love with the idea of making all of the loneliness fade away.
It wouldn't last anyways,
You'll just be left broken worse than before.
So cheers to the ones who are in love with the idea of being in love,
& cheers to...

Love Changes
From the first moment that I laid my eyes on you, I knew I've seen you before..
But I never thought that I would ever see you again.
I wanted to ask you what you were doing in my dreams all of my life, because I never for one moment believed that you were anything more than a mere fantasy.
I wanted to build a window on the side of your head so that I could see how beautiful your mind was.
I fell in lust with your thoughts, beliefs and morals.
