Darkness Invades Me
In my silence I'm torn,
ravished by lust and vile
the darkness invades me.
Torn in two, I'm given in scorn
Unable to reconcile.

Time

Time
stands still,
frozen moments, treasured memories.
Carefully sealed and permanently imprinted;
held closely are eternities whispered,
bonds created –
friendships forged
love eternal
– echoes –
eternal love.
Forged friendships –
created bonds.
Whispered eternities are held closely;
imprinted permanently and sealed carefully –
memories treasured, moments frozen,
still stands
time.
Time

Understand

When I look at what it is to be human,
I see the pain and suffering we all go through.
Some more than others.
I see the inability of others to see the anguish in their friend…
in their foe.
I see the discrimination… the hatred… the egotistical world view.
I see the cries…
Cries for help…
Cries for love…
Cries for acceptance…
We want to be understood…
Because, to love is to know…
And to know, to understand.
When I look at what it is to be human,

Some more than others.

Reap
by the Shadow of the Night
The world a place I shy to keep
Outside the life I wish to take,
My sight unseen
My heart untouched,
Near the deathly gene…
A soul to reap
For mine to break.
The night I dread,
Amongst the dead-
Possess yé shall,
Possessed yé be.
The Prince of Blood
He shall be.
Cracks of light and cracks of blight,
A shadow of the night.
A soul to take,
A soul to break,
A soul to liberate.
Siren sing,
So Blood can bring…
My soul to Reap,
And reaped the prince shall...
The world a place I shy to keep

Bitter and Cold

A grimace... a smile; a single goodbye
Of hopes yet told and fears now sold
It's that little step closer, cue the thunder
Break down and let me out, walls of old; now bitter and cold
Bring me that light you hold so dear, for the night goes on I fear
Revel in truth and unmask these lies; now bitter and cold
Melt these glaciers, rebuke asunder
Guide my path or watch them fall; now bitter and cold
It's that single step closer, now let's depart
Leave behind what was, it's done
Now bitter and cold, warm these bones
Now bitter and...

SPIRITUAL POEM

It is He

It is He, yes, that Great Spirit;
That created the heaven and the earth.
Yes, God is His name and in heaven He dwells.
Oh, and He loves us, how much He loves us.
Family He has given us,
In so much He has blessed us.
Truth He has given us.
The Gospel He has shown us.
But then, from faith we fell,
From presence we were cut off.
Men followed the lusts of their heart
And beguiled in sorrow, for they knew not their God.
The world looked out for God to save,
It cried out for the One and Only
And so many...
