I Reminisce
I Reminisce
What I have is good what I have is great but oh how I reminisce…
I Remember it all but only when I’m all alone and I have the freedom to get lost in my memories, there you are as if your still laying in my bed as though I’m still holding you in my arms as if the sweetness of your kiss still lingers on my lips
The nights the days, your selfish and stubborn ways, uncompromising mentality and objective attitude so beautifully complicated how could I resist, how could I ever forget…
You still make it easy for me to smile as if we share mountains...

Love & Happiness...again
I thought I had reached a Plato and that there was no more room for love to grow, but I saw me through your eyes and suddenly new heights began to birth,
You saw my flaws and didn't run away they brought you closer as if you were the moth and I was the flame and this feeling you give has my whole soul on fire, with flames that continue to grow as we fall deeper into the comfort of one another
All the time I spent lost in my own confusion, my own rage, my own emptiness, had me believing I had grown solid in my loneliness, but your touch has smoothed my rough edges,...

Life By My Pen
Life By My Pen
I wish I could be like Jane Austin and live by my pen
And relax and catch my breath every now and again
I say I write for the thrill, and for the high,
Yes that’s the truth but its also a lie
I live by the words and the words flow through me
It churns like my blood, on a constant journey
The reason I don’t though, is because writing is the cheapest of expensive gifts
It’s the smoothest and sexiest of guitar riffs

The Grudge
It’s complicated, it’s complex, it’s deceitful and holds no truth,
it may seem to make all look possible, but it is something that I never choose to achieve,
this life was created but was it planned or destine to be, is your love due payment for not asking me to live,

In Middle School
In middle school I learned to cuss
In middle school I learned to cuss,
I thought I loved, I learned to crush
Sign sealed delivered after I wrote them love letters
Only received a few in return, but I kept writing nonetheless
So….I cussed
Jus a young boy still playing with toys
Trying to outrun sorrow searching for joy
I wrote short notes cursing my father, praising my mother
Even wrote long ones confessing my love and adoration for music
But the short notes lingered in my blood like venom eating me to death
Parents at war over finances...

Yes..its gettin old to me and im buyin in2 it less and less,

The Gift
"The Gift"
I hear it rattling in my head, ringing in my ears,
it stings, it itches, it pushes and it pulls,
it spears me with pain, but there is no greater rush,
no higher high, even now I tingle with an undesirable excitement only "The Gift" can grant,
inspired by the air, enlightened by life, and tested by love,
all give reference to the words from which we speak,
those cursed and blessed words that keep us up at night,
that wont let us sleep until they are given the opportunity to tell their story,

For years I've waited
I thought I was patient
The wait I thought was over, pain that was endless finally ended
I had burnt my black book of former lusts
Buried lovers in the cemetery of failed dreams
All because I Believed in a dream come true, or so I deducted
Heard fairy tales only end when we stop believing

The Fall
We spend our life looking and searching
We know exactly what we seek
We know what we wish to find
Time after time we come up short; the mistakes are made thus making us apprehensive, as much as we desire for someone to treasure our hearts, past experiences pain us to give up hope. So when we finally come close enough to what we want to possess, reaching the edge of the cliff and as we peek over the view frightens us, peering over the edge there seems no end is in sight, how can we trust the unknown?
We want to fall but we want to be caught
