The Deep Inside
My fortress, it sleeps within me
Whispering the demise of the soulfree
Back I'll be, with eyes of vengeance
What is rightfully mine, I seek
Fields of despair lead to the Deep Inside
Stripped of the unknown
Salvation bleeds, I lick my wounds
Hounds prey upon the scent of fear
Hungry for survival, I am
Heed the howl of the wolf within the Deep Inside
Crawling on through deceit
I slither into my foul den
Forsaken hope, angry heart...

My Cell of Boredom
Out by a nearby clearing
Lurks an empty heritage
Passed on from days gone,
Where undiscerning devotion
Guides the naive following
Of this unsuspecting herd
Pressures breathe into an oath
That's unwillingly made my own
Reluctance refuses to uproot the stems
That drag along those abrasive frictions
Between who I am and what I aspire to be
By choosing to concede, rather than escape
I must carry the burden of the...

Where the End Begins
Creation renews memories for its own benefit
Customary habits send ripples through time,
Granted from yesteryear's fountain of beliefs
Delusions mature into an estranged past,
As hopes flourish into gardens of souvenirs
A calling drags out thorny, uncomfortable risks
Only in their stable retreat will they find peace
Concerns of the coming dawn make their presence felt,
Reviving the fears of unfortunate, struggling insecurities
An influential ring of circling tales sings empty praises,
As life...

Sailing Wonder
A sudden blow of the wind guides the direction to take,
Heading towards another vast, unexperienced territory
Closer to what is known and further from where we stand
Healing minds mend worlds of travelling opinions,
As pale thoughts attempt to stir a deafening calm
These waters now measure the distance in differences,
As they flow to and from a stream of fleeing disparities
The space between narrow views seems wider than ever
Broadened scopes drift across abandoned knowledge
Their diligence has boarded these rafts of...

A draft of struggling limitations imposes itself
May this precedent of pervading stimulation live on
A dense array of concepts explores unknown territory,
Like an indispensable overlap of independent thought
Wide stretches of conceptual boundaries further expand
Premeditation outlaws its own unavoidable extinction,

Ascend
Whistles in the rain carry a lonely voice,
Surfacing from the path that leads this way
A hidden road pledges to bring me back,
To a past that washed the truth away
Just as feelings are blown by the breath of life,
Compelled by secrets of how things used to be
The sound of rushing winds carry me far away,
Crying to the hollow tune of a tragic symphony
Shivers ripple through a wish that longs to rejoice,
Sending hopes to travel beyond their karma's reach
A steep path to tread towards absolute uncertainty,
Warranting faith to lead those it...

Primal in nature is this source of inspiration
The drive of eager cravings leads it forward,
Set upon the frame of what it wants to become
Influential parties seek to isolate this pursuit,
Manipulative forces are exerted on assumptions
Persuasion pursues its seductive ways in vain,
As convictions remain firmly entrenched in purpose
Ailing issues advise priorities to brace themselves,
They know the pressure this institution is built upon

Mirror of Strife
Vanity spreads its wings of bitter distress
Like a hostile invader of shameful habits
Sinking delusions pull me under a cloak of fear
As a hostage, witness to my captive oppressor
Spoiled pressures are pushed onto me
Demands cater to their every priority
Reality grows weary of my every move
My pride is lulled the wrong way
It can't live up to its own standards
A hasty judgement has approved
What I have chosen to forsake

Faith Rehearsed
Trails of pledged devotion decorate this landscape,
Sought for divine access to the holiest salvation
As rituals forever adhere to prophetic traditions,
An abundance of spiritual guidance transcends time
...Pleading for the coming of eternal resurrection
Servants of Glory gather every sacrilege and sin,
Warning of the malevolent threats of Sister Heresy
Revelation lights the path of hopeful hearts,
Eager to pursue the search for a lost life...
Despite the waging wars among their thoughts,
The Chosen Ones pray to embrace the heavens ...

Dignity Revealed
Destiny's reign has become the envy of one's fate
Living off the harvest of outcomes it yields
Only that which matters reveals a sincere cause
One that loses itself in the presence of virtue
Lessons learned climb a heap of unfeeling wrong
The fair and the just remain humbly undeterred
Hypocrisy is deeply offended by their innocence
Reliance floods the threat of outgrown promises
Justice tends to the child it bears
For its essence wards off distrust
Prying minds allow themselves to devour indifference
Pleasing their appetite with...

Onward
From the moment the circle of tradition is sealed,
Dreams take shelter in minds that choose to wander
Lessons astray embrace the coming of fresh visions,
While firmly clutching the hand of distant memories
Stripped endings portray vivid, lifeless souvenirs
Time rattles the cage of these stagnant thoughts,
Like a creature that denies the contents of this box
Discovery is welcomed by our new found company
Courage prepares to cross the bridge of convictions
Entering the breach within a soul tempted by choice
Free to wander beyond...

From Where I Stand
My mind is soaked with intuition,
Making instincts perspire from within
Life sweats doubt from my thoughts
As some decisions need to be watered,
Impulsive reactions can't be filtered
I sprinkle a hunch on uneasy feelings
Dangling on the edge of my 6th sense
Focus will forever hang in the balance
Flowing beyond what's right and wrong
Beware, a natural gift humbly cast aside,
Ever so receptive to what's deep inside
A state of being that won't be denied
Unquestioned is the place where I stand
Making instincts perspire from within
