Cast upon the shadows again with a heart ache to break any
stone,  I ask the Universe to guide me and respond they did

The Lady Alfreda presented herself to me
informing me that Justice will prevail

How can justice prevail here in my heart, yours and hers?
The answer came to me as my mind listened

My time in the shadows is about to end
a time of embracing the fruits of my personal labor
is being birthed

I find peace and comfort in the shadows, (the dark)
it's here that I found my self love, respect and inner
wisdom, most of all...

So many times I have been broken
never once imaging the feeling
of being rebirthed into the whole
of my true divine self

Wandering aimlessly
in the shadow part of myself
for so long
made me hide from my own shine

For far to many years I handed
over ownership of myself to this black abyss
the undeniable void of the garden of life

Hiding in corners
trying hard no to be seen
so I never would have to face
the Warrior of my own demon seed

Solitude started to scream at me
awakening me from my own nightmare...

In a grove
unseen by most
I am able to bask
in the glory of my
own serenity

It's here I find peace
and solitude
from a sometimes
demanding and uncaring
world

For me it doesn't matter
if the sky is blue and comforting
or black and full of the unknown fear
all has a peaceful message of surrender

Will you shed the cloak you wear
and walk with me barefoot
on cobbled stone or tender grass?
Will you take my hand and feel my hearts glow?

In this I release all control over outcome
and find myself...
