It's a new life
Awaken in a new day. The universe orchestrates your life's symphony. It's your choice to determine failure or a beautiful masterpiece. Take the time to correct every note. Strum every cord in the notion of exploring its depths and the potential it carries with it. Remain in tempo, don't lose your groove and remember your foundational time signature. When the music's over you'll be grateful you did. Remember playing too fast will cause your strings to squeal, so take your time and preparation. Remember the goal of this piece and don't lose sight of your dream.

A warfare so divine
Bedspread battlefields..
Your body, my kingdom to conquer.
Hearts pounding like war drums..
It's your surrender to submission I long for.
Battle cries of love,
When my tongue traces your skin.
Entangled bodies confounding,
where you end and I begin.
My strength, is your weakness.
Your sweet kiss, is mine.
Fumes of passion set heavy in the air,
In a warfare so divine.
Your body, my kingdom to conquer.

Rebirthing
There's an absence of genius here.
I feel the poison seeping into my veins...
It's just a replication of imitation,
but permanence still bares its stain...
I've got a thirsting anticipation,
to cleanse these filthy abrasions.
I'm fighting for sanity, because it's the missing piece to my equation.
Day after day, the words begin to decay.
They've lost the feeling,
the warm roll of the tongue.
I'm striving to grasp reality,
but the drugs they have me strung...
Remedy? Or civil imprisonment..
Freedom? or an imaginary cell.
Baby you can...

These sleepless nights have made me who I am.
She speaks false words..don't fall again for these lies.
The words always sound promising, until you see deception dancing in her eyes.
Fighting off the shadows at night, just to see the sun start to rise.

f**k this shit... I'm going home
Don't get too close, I've been burning bridges lately.
I think it's the voices in my head..fuck they make me sick.
If demons are real I think I've made some friends tonight.
Oh baby I'm a bullet in the chamber don't let me go off.
Digging my grave with my bare hands and there's no sign of stopping.
Temperatures rise,
while fire dances in my eyes.
My foots asleep on the gas,
Tonight, we'll cut our ties.
Rage grows like a cancer, staining the mind.
Gaze into the sky,
and my body you will find.

Mom
I remember you in Winter,
Where have you been gone to for so long...
These far away places contribute more than just long distances between us.
The warm embrace has frozen over and the loving smile is shattered on the floor. I grip the shards, hoping to feel something, anything, just so I know I'm still alive. Color flows more beautifully than I can ever recall..
The only kisses I yearn for now are from the dragon in my closet.
The sun climbs the tree tops while I'm caught up in the underbrush.
Shade covers me, smoke signals are drawn but no one comes back for us....

The chorus sounds the revival of darkness.
Alone with my thoughts yet to be discovered, indulging in the senses.
Where do we go with tomorrow just around the corner.
Escaping what could have been, or what already is.
All we really have is ourselves. When the end is upon us, the first thing we'll regret is knowing fear by name.
Our conscience is occupied with trials not yet known to ourselves. You can always side with silence, but the outcome weighs far too heavy for those left behind. She'll be back, she always comes back. And when everything is as it should be, make...

Why does every poem need a title anyway?
Anger flowing like a current with no end, overtaking everything in its path. Soberness is lost yet again.
Don't keep lying, eventually she'll never come back.
Darkness will cast it's eyes upon you as you hold your breath and fear what's to happen, when there's nothing left.
It was nice while it lasted, if only it lasted longer,
but everything dies. Sooner or later we'll all be gone here.
Strike a match and watch it burn out.
Our feeble minds cannot comprehend the magnitude, and so we side with doubt.
Don't keep lying, eventually she'll never come back.
