Quiet Child
Quiet child now don't you cry
Going to sing you a lullaby
Father has to go far away
Close your eyes for him and pray
Mother wont be here soon
I'm so sorry to tell you
But the day they were taken away
I also came for you
Feel the beating of your heart
Slower now yet fast to start
Dry the tears upon your face
Send you to a better place
Rest your head and close your eyes
Darkness comes and hears your sighs
Have no fear now while you sleep
Of your mother and father dream
Oh how they miss you
I can feel them...

The Traveler and the Maiden
Last night he dreamt
Of a maiden so fair
But when he awoke
She wasn't there, no
Weary eyed and soul he left
His room that day
Took his belongings
And eight copper paid
He left the inn
On the edge of the forest
And set out on his way
Where dreams may lead him
The wind blew north
Helped him along
The sun shone brightly down
The birds sang their song
Lo and behold
A fork in the road
Led him to a path
He travels alone
He followed the path
He hadn't seen before...

Rusted
The rusted bed discolored,aged
Made a groan as I lay
Decrepit soul Ive become
My body slowly going numb
Out the window sky so bleak
Barely seen through the streaks
Something stirs beyond the door
Water drips on the floors
My failures catching up with me
Turning hopes to pale dreams
Leave me now as I decay
Rusted to this rotten frame

Rainfall
Listening to the rainfall
Beneath the cloudy sky
The wind whispers through the trees
Leaves fall down and die
The sun peeks from the clouds
But is hidden away
There will be no light this eve
But maybe some other day
Feeling the rain fall
Landing on my cold brow
Seem to be in this till the end
Memories haunt me again
Night comes and it's still going

The Dying Swan
The Dying Swan
Boughs and branches in breeze they sway
Amidst the splendor of the sunless rays
Night has fallen from selfless grace
And beauty did steal the moon away
Reflections held your weary face
And etched it in a cold dark place
Streams of life so far away
Beneath the mirth of better days
As you lay upon the shore
Fading life before the storm
You heed the call of that caress
Of winds to herald your final rest
Now Autumn creeps in your veins
On the ground you left your stain
