Self medicate
I see you now watching me
Daring me to take another
You don't care what you cause
I love the way you burn
A bitter sweet smooth
Beer is not enough
"wine is fine, but whiskey is quicker"
You give me what I need every time
It's frowned upon
You and I
A brown mistress in black
You make me forget the pain
But it never lasts
You go too quick
A little tease
A little slut
Just one more,
One more drink

In my head
Every night
you lay in bed
without ever knowing
whats in my head
you say you love me
and i say the same
but you dont know
what keeps me tame
its not a thick line
to leave sanity
if only you knew
my inhumanity
it's a lot to hold back
you have no clue
why i always seem
just so blue

Who am I?
Inspired by the Eminem song, sorry if it is similar in any way, not meant to steal. Regardless of your opinions on him, that is not the point.*
Who am I?
I do what they say
I be who they want
I act how they act
I am who they are
I lost sight of who I am
I tried to take it back
But it is so hard
My family doesn't understand
Or do they?
Would they still accept me?
They did with my sister.
I can't with my carreer
I would lose what I have worked for

Death
Death's not what you think
It doesn't ride a horse
Or carry a scythe
It doesn't wear black robes
Or look like a specter
It is here. All around
People don't see it
When it comes to town
They deny it's exhistence
But it is oh so real
Most other cultures
Go about like its a meal
We don't like to acknowledge
The only thing that's real
We will all die
And never get a good deal
Death carries an axe
And ride a great dragon
It will come when it's ready
You don't get a say
Even if you try
It's not yours...

Louis XVI
In 7th grade did a report type project on Louis the XVI and his beheading. This is the closest I can remember of what I wrote. Mind you that was 14 years ago.*
I can hear the crowd. They are cheering my name. Not in support. In spite.
They want to see me dead. They want my head.
They walk me out. I look up one last time. No sun, no son today.
I take the steps slow. I have accepted my fate. They are still shouting. Such hate.
I speak. They don't care. Lord have mercy on their souls.
I lay my head. I start to cry. Don't show. No...

The knife.
I slide the knife
Across your vein
It steals your life
Relieves my pain
Cut the flesh
To make you bleed
