Sleepless nights
Lying here awake
Wondering about life

Blood seeps out from her pretty little tips.
She is holding on for dear life.
His hands are shaking
The rope is burning as he slips
He is holding in for dear life.
These two people are scraping, scrambling
Just trying to make it by in this stupid world
They're holding on for dear life.
Can you hear her blood curdling scream?
Can you hear is heart wrenching shout?
They won't hold on for dear life forever.
