this is a
public service announcement
brought to you by
a piece of paper
and a few spots
of ink
open both eyes
take that first deep
breath
and get your joints
moving
circle the head around
and tell yourself "fuck,

OBSERVATIONAL POEM

do?
this notebook stayed blank
for a second
but then i hear a loud bark
my dog ran out from the room
and barked 3 times
the started wagging her tail
the i got her attention and she
rested her head on my knee
i caressed her head for about
20 minutes
telling her to stop barking
i pointed towards the room an she
went back into it
then it was quiet again
this notebook is no longer blank
do dogs have nightmares too???
for a second

and she came from seattle
my head is heavy, so much thought
can i rest on your chest
your heartbeat will lighten it
from box car races to little white lies
that grew.
i wish i was transparent
almost a ghost
we'll haunt the past
till it dies
because it doesn't matter
anymore
let it die on its own as a
matter of fact
i will never look back
i will look forward
forward into your eyes
and breathe you in
until my last breath

until they cramp

Im surrounded by light
and tunes
The only attention I'm getting
is from the ceiling
yeah they don't talk back
but I don't want that
I'm scared to sleep
because I know I'm gonna dream
about you
I'm thinking about giving sheeps
the night off
I most likely won't
I want to count you
sure it doesn't make sense
but it's as clear as
shattered glass in the ocean
It's crystal
I'll sleep on one side tonight
thinking of you
hoping I don't fall into the groove

Track star
The soles of my shoes are on fire
I came along way
At one point I was 320lb
a mouth watering
but then I ran
and ran and ran and ran
To the point where I
couldn't run anymore
days of passing out
and my stomach upper cutting
me in the face
wasn't fun
Then I got comfortable
went down to 175lb
I'm 5'10 and that doesn't look
good
now I'm 230lb
I'm good where I'm at
But there's a difference
I love running
I will run anywhere
From the track to the pavements
but one thing I need to remember

It amazes me how a bed can feel like the middle of winter
and not all the blankets and jackets can cover me like you can
and summers coming up
........
A body pillow doesnt have a heart beat, my body pillow doesnt have
your heart beat whats the point?
..........
I walk around with my heart on my sleeve, unfortunetly i wear sleeve
less shirts, im a rusted play ground that gets noticed once in a while
and thats ok....

look whats on these walls
breaking through
bad memories
i know you'll tear them down....
all my tears
day by day
