POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Past
I'm dipping into my salvation
He was the lord of ultimate damnation
I can see you there
The blame on me
I can't believe that I let it be
The blood of shadows
all stretched about me
I'm trying
I'm trying
He was the lord of ultimate damnation
I can see you there
The blame on me
I can't believe that I let it be
The blood of shadows
all stretched about me
I'm trying
I'm trying

Fastfood Summer
Casting off the nats
Squishing the dirty grease
All full of tiny bugs and gritty salt
By the dozen they go.
They go and they go
People taking and taking
One after another.
It never stops.
Barely could call that clean.
Sickly yellow,
Like blood disease
dirty grease.
That's whatwe're eating.
Fastfood Summers.

People taking and taking

What Would Walt Think Now?
I hear America singing.
Their carols?
HA!
Their lyrics exasperating the tilting America.
Painfully crafted nerves gasping for breath.
Through the looking glass.
The glassed stone.
I hear America sing too.
But I hear nothing but mindless chanting.
An ancient cult.
No thoughts,
Just play follow the leader.

Work, Spilled Milk.
Milk tumbles over
Dirty towel used too much
Spills onto the floor
Dirty towel used too much
Spills onto the floor

Adieu
It lays knelt before the pulpit
It's song goes unsung in an hourglass throat
All it can do is sit
It weighs out conviction.
awaits fate.
It holds out the hand.
The slender pianist hands.
Creates reality from a push.
It's clay
Cracked and hard.
She is all but clay.
It's song goes unsung in an hourglass throat
All it can do is sit
It weighs out conviction.
awaits fate.
It holds out the hand.

on the concept of bitter hatred
I hate her.
I hate everything about her
I hate her family,
So nice and polite, she acts out.
I hate her shoes,
covered in plaster, pulling her towards cement.
I hate those eyes,
Could be Bette Davis' eyes for all I know.
I hate how she leads me on.
Playing a game of cat and mouse.
A little too sexual.
Turned me against my players.
Led me into her.
I want her hand.
I want those pianist hands
I hate that her hands...
touch others
I want to feel her hands all over my flesh
I want my body pillaged.
I hate...

So nice and polite, she acts out.

Out of Body.
Summarizing the day
Long and moist
He didn't take my hand but he led me
Led me into hiding.
I was wearing a lengthy skirt.
The day was long.
Kissed me like the day.
moist.
I knew I'd never seen him
That's why he took my hand
Just was a quick fix.
Nothing drawn and perplex.
It was just a little test.
In my little mind.
I couldn't feel a thing.
I was completely blind.
A bad boy wrapped in leather.
A maiden dressed as wench.
His hands were a guide
My mouth...
Long and moist
He didn't take my hand but he led me
Led me into hiding.

Carnival
An acidic carnival snapping at my heel.
A stroke of turpentine right across my field.
Sailors parked on the lot in the sea.
A legend so old, it terrifies me.
This year has been blurred of a carousel color.
Streaks of an undefined corn maze spector.
The pirates map the ladles soup.
I can't wait to time the loop.
A rabid ferris wheel brings me up higher.
The strike of a match sparks it on fire.
My thoughts are avid, livid, here.
I am not going to breathe in the mirror.
My acidic carnival phantomed one day,
It had...
