LOVE POEM

Hurts bad
Together we moved away to SC state,
And we could start with a clean slate.
After two months, it was apparent,
You missed your sisters, cousins, auntees, and parents.
On the third month, you moved away,
Back to Florida is where you'll stay.
So now I'm left with two dogs and a home,
But yet I feel all alone.
Six months have past,
How much longer will this pain last.
Every weekend I cry,
And wonder to myself why.
Why I love you so much,
Dedicating effort, time, money, and such.
We continue to say we love...

Mistress
Late night at work,
And again, let's pop open the cork.
Your wife is at home,
But you're willing to roam.
As our conversation passes the time,
We become closer and soon reach our sexual prime.
Day in Day out, our relationship strengthens,
And each night of ours lengthens.
Years gone by, and I want you more,
But now my ego is sore.
Because you won't leave your wife,
And being your mistress is part of my life.
And again, let's pop open the cork.
