Apparition
Satisfied sickness
striking this padle
over your hands and knees.
Reflect your smile
not your sadness
You cant grasp the sick
But you can toy with their membrane
Such an ill ridden place
Is known as the mind
I am a poet
Not the owner
across your face
i waste all my time
attempting to rhyme in this hyperbole
your ill ridden sick twisted mind
clutches me why?
Tell me where I went wrong
Your entering my world
Who is singing me a song
OH my name
pure aggression
unconditional hatred

the dissonance
All of my life I've been treated as hopeless
I've been quieted down, passed up,even turned around as if I'm unworthy of being noticed
I've been called no good with no purpose
I've been held back and demoted lab led a statistic who's not worth it
Subjected to this dejection it was killing me slowly
I started losing all of my focus, second guessing all of my motives
I feared success and even found that I loathed it
I didn't care i showed for I had succumbed to all of their notions and failed victim to everything they had told me
Growing up I knew of only two...

Dance, Monkey, Dance
Think you know me
You don't know me
Not the slightest
You'd better think again
Never considered you an enemy of mine
That's a luxury I'd only give a friend
See
You lost that privelege
With your ventriloquistic speaking on my behalf
Despite your dummy rhetoric from my lips
Always being well worth it for a laugh
Funny as it is being thrown overboard
Chummed to the sharks
Left alone for myself to fend
I always manage to walk ashore
On my own two feet
Stronger in the end
While you wrap it up
Slap a...

Broken
Today
I received
A call
From
The school nurse
Telling me
My son
Was in the health office
Having fallen after recess
(in some fluke of errant shoe strap)
Upon his wrist on the stairs
She'd iced it
And sent him back
To his kindergarten classroom
Twice
(his wise teacher convinced it was a fracture kept sending him right back)
Still
He was in significant pain
So the nurse (finally) thought she'd
Better call me in to see
Said it appeared he was in kind of a lot of pain
Good thing she...

After America Let The World Down
Jesus roams the decaying nations
In a fugue of miserable abandon
Performing magic tricks and giving advice
In the manner of Saint Michael Landon
Mumbling to himself
He picks his scabs
Amidst the freewheeling anarchy
Engulfing the whole of Europe now
The world's third largest third world country
As for Buddha
He's just plain bored
While Mohammed blitzkriegs with his sword
Anyone resembling Harrison Ford
Across an America scorched and skored
Americans gasping in a chemical haze
Surrended after only seven...

poem...
an old poem, from 2 to 3 years ago...
i did post this recently in the "playing around" forum...
Where is the beauty that was there?
--Classically gone.
--Slipped out the back.
“How’s things?”
Things is good right now.
Things is going fine.
Like rhinestones on the water
shine until compared
by practiced eye
or layman’s eye.
The poor laywoman wept.

The Last In Line ( Ultrasonic Sonnetry )
Are your royalties that abundant
You can afford to be redundant
With verse bland and uninspired
How original, how tired
Like a balding set of flattened tires
Poeticism parked on cinder blocks
Going nowhere fast and furious
Like backwards spinning hands of clocks
As you recycle the same old format
We see where your head is at
Where the sun refuses to shine
Breaking new ground inside there
But out here,
You're the last in line
Yeah
Would you ever take the risk
To write something vibrant, cutting,...

The Preacher's Confession
You come to me asking for the Lord's blessing
To cleanse your soul of sins you're now confessing
I myself must confess I'm mystified and truly stumped
I thought I was here to help guide you along
To preach the Word of God and sing His mighty song
Not listen about the neighbor's wife that you humped
Why don't you just keep those details quiet
I'm breaking out in laughter to the point of a riot
Why is it so difficult for you to grasp His beautiful Way?
You are forgiven if you are likewise a forgiving soul
With free will comes a...

Tell It Like It Is
Why don't you lie to yourself some more
About how God is for, not against the war?
And when you find yourself knocking on Heaven's door
Don't act suprised
If nobody let's you in
No holding back as you justify attack
Under technicality of self defense
Calm and serene is an ocean between
Without hill or bunker across the vast expense
Striking pre-emptive in a hardly redemptive
Locking on of missiles, letting God sort the remains
Annihilate the enemy in your perverse necessity
To live onward, have children and poison their...
