Gathering Smiles
this is serious,
why do you always laugh Mom?
tears are too messy

Radical blues dancer.
I'm taken by your mind
radical blues dancer
nerdy science teacher
walk into a kiss
hold you under the covers
for hours and hours
said bye at the train platform
reminders the sun does shine a little brighter
sometimes
through the worse of times for the world
the world outside these walls is wild
and worrying me
but I'm happy smiling
snuggled up to you
in your company
and your security.

July Bottle Rockets
Non stop awesome
crack
bottle rocket
like that
just kick ass
through the sky
no question
no doubt
just explode
and let the ashes
land where the will
This is ok
it's all alright
let the circle roll
and spin out of control
a promise to live on
through dark clouds
heavy and built up
just got to let go
In this sky
flying around
could get lost
wrong turn
is it up or down?
Where is this trust
I was supposed to feel
all zipped up
proper and etiquette
and so full of shit...

You are the apple of my eyes, the one whom I cherish. Loving you is what I do best.

Namarah: My First Motherhood
After trial by water,
And fire,
And by blood
You came.
Golden-haired creation,
Golden-skinned and glistening.
Your tiny fury declared to all present
As you were lifted from my crimson nest.
‘Emergency Caesarean’ they called it,
But to me, you had chosen to rise
Like angels do
From the hot and the red.
I knew you. You had come to let me
Love you completely and purely
But with a ferocity to rival the wolf.
I slept then, as did you
And we dreamed together.
All else seemed grey and far away.
And this...

Autumn
The fall of Autumn marks the end,
Belies the shadows to come,
The long cold winter slowly descends,
Marking what has become.
The noose tightens around my throat,
I feel the light slipping away,
My body shall fall and be cast to the moat,
Never to again to see the light day.
My one regret, to last forever,
It Shall haunt my heavenly ascent,
For I would have died happy if we had died together,
But your body shall never be sent.
Through the wastelands beyond the walls,

The king
I won't chase you, I'm the king of this game, The king always wins no matter what the result will be, whether he acquires the gem or not.....I always end up happier than you.

Madness
Madness..........is it my perceived reality our yours?
Can you see through my eyes, the torrid life of a forgotten whore?
The jagged pieces that are left of me,
Floating in a tumulus sea.
The thousand tears that I have shed,
The vile blood that still runs red.
The "Who" you see is not who I am,
Too tired, too old, to have faith again.
Pondering this thing that we call life,
Once was raw......like Satans wife.
Exquisite torture, no physical pain.
A broken soul, never whole again.
Little insights I give...

Darkened mist
Fear an evil lurking death,
Chilling breath upon life's neck.
Fingers pressed on earths delight,
All alone this fateful night.
Misty thoughts swirl around,
Upon this dead and baron ground.
Deep below no searching light,
On this dark and misty night.
Hollow screams fill life's air,
Enveloped in Deaths icy glare.
Surrounded by things I cannot touch,
On life's vision I cannot trust.
All alone with nothing inside,
This painful life I cannot hide.
Chilling breath upon life's neck.

Summer's coming, time to dream the day away
I was 15 on a Baltic Cruise and we had just left Stockholm
And she's so sunny is the girl you met today
She was called Jayne from the upper decks
Will she make it? can she take it?
She smelt of fresh green apples and she was looking only at me
Like to try love, such a shy love
We merely held hands and then danced very slowly
Ragged back street, leaning on the wall
I felt her warmth, can I be your girlfriend?
She weaves a story of her life before it all
She make me feel special
Did she give love? could...

Standing in Air
Standing in air
A hawk that feeds
On ideas
Taut, zoned
Pencil honed
To make a point
Justify this claimed height
Perilous flight
Critical. View
I stand in air, apart
When all I yearn
Is to enter you
A hawk that feeds
On ideas
Taut, zoned
Pencil honed
To make a point
Justify this claimed height
Perilous flight

I stand in air, apart
