When Death Comes~

Thy eyes see not Beauty in Death,
Only a Life forsaken.
But open them, thine eyes and mind,
And see a path not taken.
Though, yes, Great Love is left behind,
See thee what is awarded.
Take not the thought of life ending,
A Death is not so morbid.
It may come to thee with pain,
But dwell not on such feelings.
Death frees thee from mortal chains,
And Life no longer healing.
Each man has His Death and dying,
Such is only Life.
But once He's dead who knows what waits?
The limits are what one contrives.
See not Death as ever-leaving,
But as one story ending.
'Tis not the end, only an ending,
And next could be great stories pending.
Open thee thine eyes and mind,
And see what Dreams may come,
When one awakes in the next Life,
Where one Dream ends,
Another Dream will have begun.
When Death comes.

Humanity should return to nature
To love everything that grows on trees
And we all know what's said of money
It doesn't grow on any of these

Told my life depends on paper
On something so easily torn up and burnt
Scorn me for living freely
Your lies will never hurt

I refuse to live my life for money
I refuse to fall into greed
My life shall be lived for love
For love is the noblest deed

The power of love is astounding
Only ever sometimes rivaled by greed
But greed is just a love for money
Love is powerful indeed

NATURE

this is home to me
where I shall always be
not in concrete pitts
but with living trees

here I'm at my best
ready for natures test
now I sleep peacefully
behind me is for the rest

Here I feel so much alive
where many can't survive
smelling flowers to pass time
from natures love I derive

where else could I go
to hear natures flow
why would I ever leave
my heart dosent known

)~ Beauty with an Essence ov Destruction ~(

O beautiful rose coming into bloom,
Thy red petals are so vivid as if ye were about to overflow.
Thy green leaves are graceful,
And thy scent is bewitchingly fragrant.
Take my blood in thy lips and savour it with thy tongue.
Moisten thy throat,
Then wither and die.
And the rose will conceive destruction.

Peel back the bark of my skin
See the Clear water run through my veins
I shed dirt when i scratch
The wind is my breath
Run your fingers through the petals and leaves of my hair
The rumble of thunder is my roar
Raindrops are my tears
I am Earth
Out of my womb came your life
When your time is ended
To my womb you will return

SERENITY

Silent cries of the wild
Echo in the distant jungle
Rustling flow of the nearby brook
Equally soothing to my weary soul
Nocturnal creatures swarm the sky
Intercepting the nightingale’s cry
Tonight would be peaceful and calm
Yesterday remained a melodic harmony

Living in solace with Mother Nature
Overlooking the clear, blue ocean
Vast source of food and livelihood
Evergreen forests with rich fauna
Sojourn for the weak and weary souls

Solitude keeps me company
Every time you’ve gone away
Recapturing the memories
Each of us have lovingly shared
Nobody in this chaotic world
Instilled in my troubled mind
Token of your endearing fortitude
You gave me strength and inner peace

Coastal Melaleuca

Wandering the tranquil coastline forest
a secret sanctuary, sheltered by dunes
isolated by freshwater billabongs, I gaze
into enchanting tangled blue reflections

suspended in black tannin backwaters
twisted roots snare limbs and torsos
of lost lovers that carelessly ventured
beyond the safety of the sandy shores

Melaleuca, humble tree of hidden truth
sweet fragrant leaves heal my wounds
paper bark peels from crooked trunks
versatile fabric to her keeper’s customs

from behind the crystal breakers, I float
admiring the morning light on Melaleuca
an emerald crown rising above the dunes
a secret sanctuary, sheltering in shadows.

FALL IN THE CAPITOL
                (renga)
http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2013/301/7/f/fall_in_dc_by_engrvv-d6s52xj.jpg

bursting of colors
along Washington Parkway
soothing to my soul
wondering what would it be
if there are no living trees

the call of the wild
along the Potomac river
music to my ears
if its old banks overflowed
my world would be sad and doomed

beauty of nature
dancing with the passing wind
whispering good-bye
her whispers become louder
yet, no one pays attention

if now, we don't care
future generations die
robbed of nature's best
the rolling hills and green fields
become their graveyards instead

we owe to our youth
what our forefathers had left
conserve and protect
stop denuding forests
to preserve ecosystems

join me in my plea
send e-mails to the capitol
preserve nature's wealth
influence decision makers
in writing new policies

it's never too late
listen to the weeping tree
my heart bleeds for you
every time you cut its trunk
gloomy days not far behind

you choose to ignore
biblical signs and warnings
becomes deaf and blind
to scientific studies
went on your own care-free way

my spirit roams
in my neck of the woods
tears mix with flash floods
mourning the loss of loved ones
price you paid for being deaf!

Epiphany of Life

I froze, daunted by my morbid fantasy
awoken to find myself on the edge.
At the behest of a monster, paralyzed
my old enemy shook me to the core.
“Look through her, but not into her eyes;
ignore their lustrous splendor.”

Choking on the moths in my throat
drowning on my breath, crumbling to earth,
crawling toward a light in a tunnel of night
I hear angel’s laughter roaring in the wind.
“The irony that a sight so beautiful and
irresistible could deliver such horror to see.”

My dignity and phobia at war within
obstructing my path to peril.
Give me courage to face my demons
through eagle eyes and plummet to my death.
“Stand and face the fear, don’t deny
your objective, fulfill your black destiny.”

At the edge of life and land with the wind
in my hair, I gaze onto the horizon.
The ocean alive, seething with energy,
surging walls charging toward the cliff.
“Waves are like serpents; a torrent of venom,
slowly crushing rocks into sand.”

The deceiver, a thunderous force
in disguise, swells then attacks at zenith.
Its head pulled back ready to strike
glows brilliant as an emerald… then bites.
‘Hiss!’ It melts into the ocean depths,
within the cycle of the pith.

I peer down upon my epiphany of life.
The escarpment, sculptured by elements at war
power of destruction and glory of creation.
I hold my breath, reflecting upon how one could think
of death. This manifest of fear and vision of death
conquered by a wondrous sight.
