Onyx Eyes

Creatures whine
under sombre intolerance
pallid and dark at the same time
you know
she aint one of us
blood bottled fine wine
is a stolen gift out of our populous
all clocks now chime
its time
for mass exodus.

She steps from the portal
demons hold her long cape
encrusted in immortal
medieval and keyhole shaped
celo's groan a deep mourning
for all will not escape
her polished
eye aura
of onyx
black cover
for now its all over
in the early hours
of too late .

Serpentipidous

Follow me in
To the shadows
Keep your eyes closed
Tremble real slow
Take this heart dear
Keep it hollow
My poison tongue
Don't you swallow

Now I'm thinking there's a space that sits between
Every feeling that slips from you to me
And there's no bridges just a grave infinity
That I can't cross and that you claim not to see

So this is darkness baby you and me in here
But quit your crying you ain't got nothing to fear
You might see demons but they're friends of ours today
And if you let them they'll just burn your sins away

So won't you

Follow me in
To the shadows
Keep your eyes closed
Tremble real slow
Scream your prayers loud
But God won't show
Devil may care
But he don't know

The calm is a memory of fathers dead
We were born into this storm their strength has fed
So don't look back, relapse, the past is no godsend
And if you want I can carry you 'til the end

...But only if you follow me into the shadows tonight

Why don't you

Follow me in
To the shadows
Keep your eyes closed
Tremble real slow
Scream your prayers loud
But God won't show
Devil may cry
But you won't know

Midnight's children

Dressed in black
wild in the darkness
for in the shadows
we are free
cursed by the world
for we are different
we are midnight's children
please let us be

Jet black eyes
painted fiercely
razor cuts
from failed escape
skin so pale
looking ghostly
just stay away
and keep your hate

Razor blades
dipped in crimson
cutting scars
no lasting pain
dark in heart
filled with passion
say what you want
we share your fate.

I think I'll squeeze in on this one. Gothic heart within.

` Black Tears

sculptress of darkness...
is carving black tears inside her chest of dreams
with scarlet lip whispers wounding silences sting
night shade threads veil her pale skin canvas
she's cherry twisted pitch veined in mystery
sorrows wilted widow, mourning death
her long dark hair is raven essence finesse, alas
with thorn stemmed magick she'll make them sway
for her world of shrouded secrecy marred in utter decay.

Trading Chaos

Waking up in darkness startled the poor old souls of Hollow
But I could not console them, for I was falling asleep in fire
The naked little town was windswept and they would not smell the stench until the morning
And so fools fell back to sleep in shadows
While I awoke in a bed of ashes, echoes of mockery in my ears
Again, eternal rest evaded me
Some men would die for just a taste of it
I would rather spew the bitterness of mutilated portions from my tongue
For more than the body goes wanting

the illusion decays
vultures eating bitter corpses
while the shadows lurk in the darkness
a simple word would end it
a simple glimpse would rot it
should i trust the calling
this baneful feeling of thirst...
i saw you in my dreams
i had you in my nightmares
bleeding you malicious ways
tormenting my deepest emotions
black image of a headless body
rising from a disgusting pool
i keep crying
i keep looking...

Beyond the Corn Field

My love he was
so handsome of face
walk tall with grace
I pined for him

Through my lonely days
When he came wooing
I was as happy
as a dancing sun ray

But alas he wooed
my pretty sister
who coquettishly said Yes
My heart turned to ashes

Bitter as bile
Every day I walked along
The corn rows
Hiding my ever sliding tears

And then one day I met him
The cause of my pain
He looked at me with sorrow
Folded me in his arms

‘you are just twelve
You’ll find true love
Someday’
My hands they curled

Against the harvesting knife
And gutted him from his belly up
Heard him sigh
Crumpled to the ground

I buried the knife deep
Among the rustling corn
went home to bath
and sleep….

The funeral was sombre
All wore black
No suspect
Not even big fat me…

Beyond the corn rows
Sometimes one can hear
Sad sighs, moaning over
The gently swaying corn.

What Will Always Be
________________________

Hurtful words do not pierce skin,
But instead, they wound the soul,
Blood that weeps from spirit torn,
Sewn shut lips shall take its toll.

Doubt that shreds your inner being,
Unyielding silence reigns supreme,
Blame and fault walk hand in hand,
The crack of that mask, never seen.

To reveal the worlds within a world,
Chip away at those porcelain lies,
That spread and hardened long ago,
To hide away shame and tainted ties.

Regret that stings your very being,
Things that were never in your control,
Fingers pointed with echoing laughter,
Innocence and sanity they long had stole.

With summoned tears and bitten lips,
The light becomes too much to bear,
Rays of white that scorch and burn,
The unforgiving world that was never fair.

An empty shell that begs for death,
Remnants of tortured souls rot away,
Forever waiting for oblivion to come,
As agony manifests and vows to stay.
