Write about Sixth Senses
In a poem, write your opinion on the Third Eye or the Sixth Senses. It could be an experience of yours or experiences of those whom you know.

The Invisible Field
We are nearing the dawn of science and technology,
wherein the final frontier shall be in spirituality -
harmonious relationship between body and soul,
not physics and chemistry - we learned from school.
Focus your energy and be one with nature,
breathe deeply and keep a steady posture;
that's one way of maintaining harmony,
as you listen to your favorite symphony.
Learn how to harness your internal energy
so that you may reinforce your synergy -
extra energy most ordinary folks can't bear,
but only those people with minds who are pure.
Power without control would be a disaster
just lurking in the shadows waiting to batter;
mastery of the mind, body and spirit -
something in this world, you don't inherit.
Bear in mind that money and power are needed
by most political leaders whom our trust exceeded;
to control people and protect their selfish agenda,
and gain more wealth to buy another hacienda.
People have eyes but oftentimes don't see
that field of energy surrounding the human body;
only hyper-sensitive individuals and not just anybody,
even if we discuss this Aura over a cup of tea.

SYSTEM
There's a system'
In the matrix of my soul.
Like cosmic music.
I can hear the colors roll.
By the time your aura reaches me...
I'm swimming in your beautiful belief...
There's a system,
in vibrations of my strings.
Like new gained wisdom.
I am more than human being.
By the time your fingers start to graze.
We have lived forever yet again.
There's a system'
In the matrix of my soul.
Like cosmic music.
I can hear the colors roll.
By the time your aura reaches me...
I'm swimming in your beautiful belief...
There's a system,
in vibrations of my strings.
Like new gained wisdom.
I am more than human being.

Empath…
I ruminate incessantly about this secret I must hide,
not knowing what to do because my private world
and the mundane would disastrously collide.
Very few can understand and even less can relate,
I would be considered strange being by all my piers,
if it was known, the rarity of my state.
Amongst my own in hushed tones it is discussed
but more times than not silence is kept as a must,
Where can I turn to, who do I trust?
Those I have told turn their back me and run.
So in silence I keep my plait, some see it
as a blessing from the creator or some such
yet for others I am insane
or cursed, by something unholy touched,
this has alienated me from anyone
that I could have loved,
never honestly being myself or able to open up.
In my daily rat race,
a facade I maintain,
a cool exterior of just another plain Jane
yet if I had been born in another time, another era,
I would have certainly burned at the stake.
I have sought to understand
the definitions given for my unique traits,
empath, precog, oracle and prophet,
depending on the beliefs of the describer.
How do I reconcile this with my day to day life and,
will I ever be able to freely be all that I am,
without having to hide?
This curse has granted me such penance,
never to be accepted or loved
by any man future, past or present…
