Is this your eye? If so, maybe a clearer picture would be helpful. If it's just a random eye, choose a different one.

The eleventh hour

On the surface, the sun that shines
close to the eleventh hour
reflects many struggles
that near left her broken

look deep into the iris
and you might see a young face
wide eyed with hand on mouth

or you might see something
a little more sinister
hiding in the depths of the blackness

so I see a wizened soul, a protector
drenched with stamina
touched by sadness
with a definite capability
for more than little madness

sometimes careful
and other times carefree
which is most probably the way
she'd rather be

( I realize that sounds like a penny reading in some tent with a nut-job gazing into a crystal ball, ...so you owe me one penny )

there are no windows; only doorways to hell, the pathways all festered; with putrid smells. people must live; with choices made, there is no coming back; from the pit that he's saved. our souls are consumed; furnaces run night and day, our sins are many; for them we must pay.

- Piercing the Veil -

Regarding the moon, is an eye that sees all,
Not all-seeing like some gypsy’s crystal ball…
But something more sinister and arcane too!
It waited for the darkening of skies once blue.
When I walk in the woods it regards me well,
And I sense in it some kindred from deep Hell.
I regard the eye and look into its’ vast deeps…
And the raven looks back as the world sleeps.
Familiar spirit, sent to guide me to my meeting,
With spirits that await my sorcery’s greeting!
I did not realize at first, though I felt the dread,
That raven was in reality, a spirit of the dead.

“Piercing the veil,
With intensity to mock the gods!
Piercing your soul,
Like a thousand hot iron rods.
My eye sees what you fear,
Piercing your heart.
Pray it draws not more near,
Lest my gaze rend you apart!

Reality is torn down,
By looking beyond the veil…
As in darkness you drown.
No one there to console,
Before my gaze you are alone.
You shiver in shadow,
My gaze flays you to the bone.
More terrible than you know!

Piercing the veil,
Until you see what was hidden!
Piercing your flesh,
Like spur on steed hard ridden.
What does your eye behold?
Something without reason!
My gaze meets you cold,
Your soul betrays you: treason.”

Haunted..

From the depths
of the soul
revealed...
a vision of the past
a burden carried...
while ancients whisper
"trouble...wont always last"

An Eyeful
You killed one half of me, making me feel incomplete
No, I am not blind…my better half you shall not see

My tears held in the reservoir beneath my eyes
Your darkness I wear but I shall persevere

Broken, shattered, blood vessels spun around my eyes,
Your web of deception, attacking my face like a virus gone wild

I’m watching you, one eye open at all times
I still have one half of me, the other cheek, and a reserved smile

I see Freedom staring back at me.
The first glimpse of sunlight since 2003.
Deep. Deep. They kept her tuck away in a hole.
Clawing upwards towards life. She did all things to preserve her soul.
After all those years in blackness she forgot what it was like to see.
Now released from her grave, I Know that is Freedom staring back at me.

my soul
dont you see it
it's so obvious
i ... hate myself
cant you see the pain ?
i love you but, i don't
have the guts to tell you
"i love you"so that's so sad
so goodbye my love
ill dye tonight ,
for if you truly
love me you will
save me and you
will love me ...
