A light in dark world

The Brightest Blue Sky

The brightest blue sky,
The trees topped with green.
The different peoples: their colors, shapes, and sizes.
The occupations, interests and understandings
And the cultures that have created these minds.  
All this moves me, fills me, and leaves me with wonder of the world.
Yet for all this, how can sorrow still stay with me?
My main guide, my surest motivation  
With a turn of my head I burst into tears; there is no warning.
I hear a sound, see a reminder, and everything is lost.
There is beauty, but is it for me?  Is it large enough
To engulf the hole, the emptiness I feel in my chest?
Why can I not take the glorious music I hear and fill this hole?
Why does this beauty only serve as an illumination and reminder that I am alone?  

My light in the dark night

In this world
full of sorrow
I have thought
I may not see the morrow

But a guiding light
pulled me from the depths of hell
She saved me
my white divine angel

O' the angel
ever so sweet
brightened my world
for eternity

Now I live walk in light
surrounded by others shadows
Because of her
I always know I'll see the morrow

it has been said
your Shadow is the delineate
of your Soul
      Perhaps
this explains
why you can only see it
when you're standing in the
      Light

Seemingly punching a whole in the dark
Peeking its face to our blue sphere

The silver color roams the land
Paths once hidden
revealed in an instant

All pieces of the wilderness seen
Comfort is made from the gleam

Let there be light
The wolfs howl gives strength
Tender is the love of the blunt bears fur
Nature too becomes thankful of this moment

Alas the clouds huddle up
Winning the battle for the heavens
Blocking the glimmers of hope that shine
Creatures of the void come again for their hunt

Let there will be light
If not for the salvation we hope for
If not for the comfort, the strength, or our survival
Then let hope be our guide to this end of the tunnel once more

Angelic Companion
Petrified in opaque marble
She observed the mourners
Visiting their beloved ones.

One in particular caught her eye
A young woman struck by anguish
Her sister murdered by a crook.

Taking notice of the sudden emptiness
She carefully glided of her pedestal
And stood close to her.

She turned and saw her
Frightened at first and smiling the next
Maybe she wasn’t as unaided as expected.

You all see light in a god
I see light in myself
I am I
So don't deny
I can break you within a second to spare
But I can also save you from all of despair

I've been here, always will
Cause darkness used to only fill

I need strength
I have weakness
I beg for hope
Share no mercy

You dwell in the shallow end
Not seeing nor looking

Cold dead stare
Without a care

I'm in a trance
To dance
Strange it sounds
Lets drink some rounds
Cause my light
My drug
my hope
my love
my life
my reason
My familiar intoxication
Is you
