What Resides within
Creation

Creation’s storehouse forged me with ingredients of the Makers choosing.
A bit of pain and heartache
Love and happiness
Confusion, delusion
Understanding and sympathy
Heartlessness and cruelty
Joy and peace
Grief and war
Good and evil in equal share.
Mixed well to form a thick a concoction of bone and marrow flesh and spirit;
shaped into the  human form.
Last to breathe the breath of life.
Now ready to be birth from the Motherland.

correction

Little Bill reach for the fire.
His mother slapped his hand.
Little Bill pulled the cat’s tail.
The cat scratched him.
Little Bill bit his sister.
She bit him back.
Little Bill hit his sister.
She hit him back.
Little Bill kissed his mother.
She kissed him back.
Little Bill went to his room and thought about his day.
Good and evil lurks inside but which will I chose to obey?
Spare the rod and spoil the child

Definition

I’m no ones saint and no ones sinner.
I seek my evil, I seek my good.
I’m hated of some and loved by too many.
My words are tainted, my thoughts are pure.
My heart is fleeting, my spirit eternal.
I’m no one special nothing new, just another person seeking the Light anew

Destruction

It vexes me this thing called life.
It rips at my flesh
Tears me down, strips me of my pride.
Robs me of my well; it destroys my very being.

I’m nothing, but Deity’s toy to be played with like a child.
My dignity for not, my hopes dashed.
In its cruel hands where goodness and malevolence resides together so easily;
it chooses to destroy me.

Observation

A bird watches me from a tree.
I wonder what his beady eyes see as he stares at me.
Does he see what reside inside; the creatures dwelling in the shadows, the ones shinning in the light?
How can he comprehend the eternal  battle between  evil and  good that’s ever present in me?
Does he wonder which one reflects in my eyes while I now stare back at him in the pale moonlight?

I try Penny I promise

(Observation)

Co efficiency is relative to tendency,
and the ability to retain sanity
when insanity's playing table tennis with your self-relativity.

(Definition)

I'd call her the idiot, with her hopes pegged to the washing line,
he really hung you out to dry
didn't he?
Congealed your white-freckled thighs aside,
saw fleshiness in his eyes,

(Creation)

breaking the most superior of tides.
You could have made it all then and there,
you slaved the whole way after all,
dissipating time with eroticisms,
past-reckoned present with philanthropism.
She made love,
and you made haste,
collection beamed from her face.
As it was with little subtlety that you created
a tendency of dependency that she soon had related.

(Destruction)

Do I blame you
or the eyelashes that drew blood when you left,
as you surrendered
and dismembered-
played your part of petty theft.
But mainly, it was the co-incision of cherry blossom nights
and paled Clayton-Lake dreams,
that leads way to severed-ringlets of thought
that both beckoned
and reckoned
her screams.

(Correction)

I'm nearly there I’ll have you know,
as she can dress, and obsess without a sound.
But that bead of sweat, slipped from eyelid to neck,
and wasn't there before you came around.
It's the calmest of summer,
that never fails to stun her,
when the fields play taverns with her head.
As it’s the grass that beats her,
now the seconds eat her,
as she clearly listens for you instead.

But, quite frankly, I'd prefer you were dead.

******observation*******

Im bouyed by the thought
that ideals exist, the ones we`re taught
that Karma grinds even as we`re bought
into midsets that freeze us on the court
cant take a shot, cant pass the ball
can only bear the brunt, take the toll
join  intended`s in their holes
`cause somehow we let our own selves grow cold
`cause we`ve taken the Pledge, relinqueshed our Souls
somehow that Pledge only one-way rolls
and because from a proud generation we rose
the sacrifice on Our shoulders Fall

******definition*********

it's the Fall of our lives
midcourt, midpoint, time flies
when you're havin fun,
but when havin` none
Time Dies
are we settled,
or have we yet to arrive
cant we thrive,
not just survive?
will I forever be haunted by those thighs?
regret I didnt put up a fight
with the ultimate answer well within my sight?
will I be forever haunted by those eyes?
reflecting smoldering sex, intelligence and pride
but now a hint of sadness overrides

NO! I will NOT let this Oppurtunity go by

******creation******

chunks of dirt shifted
stirring this corpse of a man
who long ago ridded
himself of the notion
that self-determination
was Sacred, God-given
in walking hibernation
blindly he stumbled
upon a force of nature
whose truth made his mausoleum crumble
astonished, he could actually remember
while thrusting out amidst the rubble
experience of her unmatched pleasure
he attracted  an extraordinary lover
Soul Siren`s power managed to energize
a  Zombie enough to shake houngan`s powder
awakening glimpses of Forgiving Light

******destruction**********

what a waste, I was instructed  NOT to permit
my Lover`s Soul to fade, as if dimly lit
by regrets boxing in like snowdrifts
their ice like weights refusing the lift
of Spirits born to share ultimate gifts
and as the sands continue to sift
these Great Lovers sepatated only by guilt
shackled to towers they`ve unconsciously built
of false hopes someday they`ll be fulfilled
by bygone passion whose cup has long ago spilled
NOT runneth over, but dried like a pill
leaving our voices of passion so shrill

******correction*********

are we gone let this devilry stand?
are we gonna let one more grain of sand
drop into the tumbler as if the present`s been planned
that we agree with the fate we randomly landed
We`re not gonna fight for the Love thats been granted?
as if we were touched by  God`s own hand
an intended union of woman and man
just delayed so the flames could be fanned
for Lives that otherwise would not be set `pon pathes
of there own `cept on our behalf
Well baby those Lives have enjoyed the bath
their Baptism of innocence a thing of the past

presently.....

we hold the future in our palms
we cant expect anyone else to offer alms
to the poor suffering Souls immersed in ponds
of tears shed over unexpected qualms
the fault lies not in ourselves but our stars
those stars now fading, the next move is ours
are we really gonna just wile away the hours
when just a hint of paradise we`ve already encountered
the unlikely rain has already showered
away all the grounds upon Love we have doubted
leaving us dry like the Ark`s fortunate Bounty
to create from perspective, We Are Empowered

To all the poets that participated:
Kriticool, SomeLikeItHot, Imagining, Pretty_Normal and Devilicious (Lemmy I don't know where to place you)
I commend your bravery for taking this competition on. It wasn't the easiest of competitions - intentionally so.

Congrats Imagining and SomeLikeItHot for the win.

That shouldn't take anything away from the pure brilliance of the minds, of the poets, that participated in this.
To quote a Greek philosopher "There are times when merely to try, is to win." If this is not such a competition, show me which is?

I am in awe- Bravados!

I don't know much about numerology but
I believe it is said therein that God is ten.
