Poetry Contest Description
Combine a "Light" Poem and a "Dark" Poem
This Poem was a challenge from my good friend , she said write 2 poems one being "light" and one being "Darker" than that, and then combine them by writing Line 1 of the "light" Poem, Then Line 1 of the "dark" poem, Then Line 2 of the "Light" then Line 2 of the "Dark Poem" and So on...The Goal was to see if it would fit together as 1 poem at the end....

The more I thought about your competition the more it inspired this.
Confused Killer
They must pay for their torture
But I cannot hurt my friends
After what they did to me
I must hurt them
I will kill them
No no I cannot
I must take revenge
No I must not
I will watch their
lives leave their eyes
I am not a killer
No one can die
I shoot the first one
I grieve them deeply
Why did I do this
I kill the next in their sleep
I'm not a monster
But yet I am
I must do whats right
I turn myself in
Confused Killer
They must pay for their torture

rocks
your hat
cliffs
oh that hat of yours
morning breaks
i can see that hat
with the waves white
and your hand
the sky empty
taking it off
waiting
and all your fine brown hair
the weather from the north
pinned
the last of a bright sun
and clasped
followed by years of cloud
combed
horizon to horizon
and braided
a cotton sheath
your fine brown hair
a dressing for a wound
wetted
the voices
lathered
the wind
shampooed
the notes filled
and rinsed
the chorus
in showers
the seabirds
and baths
the last of the sun
in oceans
the bulb of the planet
and seas
it's fragile glass
in the summer winds
evacuated
on a back porch
the sea boils
it falls
the birds explode
in winter
the rocks are
hiking a west slope
the rocks survive
with the sun through it
even the giants feet
your fine brown hair
the deep sounds
at night
of their footsteps
as it falls on my chest
of drums
falls through our story

The killer, he awaits
Please no more senseless violence today
And the victim can not escape
Please enlighten our minds
The trap has now ben set
Please give us enough time
The trigger reeks of the killer's sweat
Please Give us Strength
The target has now been acquired
Please Guide the way we think
He gives the trigger purpose....shots fired
Please Give us Love for our fellow man

Please Give us Wisdom to Understand
Next to the last...now the last...breath....dead
Please bring an end to all the hate

Beloved
He embraces me in the dark of night
Giving me his essence with his rod
Channelling into me his hard might
Pumping hard into me, his seeds
The bright dawn illuminate the world
Dancing light on the tree tops
Soughing breeze caressing the woods
Walking with me, he holds my hands
Darkness in his eyes reflects
Nothing, but his fiery lusts
As he rides me into oblivion
This lover, this strange man
For night brings his mighty sword
